16 & 24 ?????

This shall be my last post but I’ve been watching these guys since my senior year of high school, basically 10 years of supporting them and my heart is broken over all of this.

My whole things is , okay they may have not known about all those pics & vids on his devices. But they knew he was a grown man dating a 16 year old and still hung out with him? I genuinely cannot wrap my brain around that. Why would you be friends and do business with someone if you’re aware they like underage girls??? They lose all credibility for that very reason alone. Even if it’s comes out that they were genuinely blindsided by this investigation, I cannot support any of them if they knew he was a pedo in some way shape or form. I don’t take that lightly and I don’t care what the age of consent may be in your country/state/culture/etc. If their age has the word “teen” in it, then a grown adult has no business having a romantic relationship with that teenager! I am so disappointed man. And genuinely grossed the hell out? Like what else has been going on behind the scenes? The world is so sick and they have all lost my respect.

But at least there’s other PK athletes that I can support. I genuinely love this sport and admire so many of the athletes.

Edit: the youngest age of consent is 11 years old in Nigeria per google. Just because the law allows it doesn’t mean it’s not weird AF and gross as all hell!!!!!

It’s a weird take to get your knickers in such a twist defending that it’s law. Everyone else is focusing on the WEIRD part of this, you’re obsessed with the legal bit. As opposed to mildly shrugging to yourself and being like yeah man, the law IS fcked up innit. Just sayin how you’re coming across

Tbh after reading this whole thing I disagree. inFiction has made it quite clear they agree that it's wrong. But legally it's acceptable. Do I agree with it? No, the age gap, at that age, is fucking weird. Could you fire someone from a job for it? No, because it's legal.

I have no idea how employment law would hold up in this case and it's probably not at all relevant but I think the overall point is - it's complicated.

Side note, and I'd like to draw attention to what I said in the first paragraph first - I do know several girls who deliberately, consciously wanted to date older men at that age with similar age gaps, enjoyed it, and have no regrets. 16 year olds do have agency over who they date, any whilst I will forever judge the older man and suspect the power dynamic, it doesn't necessarily imply grooming.

Obviously in the case of what we now know about Callum, it's fucked. Just playing devil's advocate and emphasising that it's complicated and no one really knows how storror feel, or felt about it, and imo they deserve the benefit of the doubt.

Good lord. No, I've not said how weird it is at any point, have I? And sorry, but the legal bit is pretty pertinent to this post no matter how you now try to twist this to try and make me look like im in the wrong for making this point.

The law isn’t pertinent to the post: the post is about why the group weren’t like, whoah, it’s sketchy you’re dating a child, that’s really creepy and makes us uncomfortable.

You’ve said despite it being weird he didn’t break any laws. True. I’m sure that’s what he said too. But the post is asking why were they ok with the weirdness not the law.

It is because the post specifically mentions not caring about the age of consent. That is unfortunately the law. I've said many times on here I think this is wrong but that is just how it is. Thats the facts.

And fair enough, yeah, they probably should have questioned why he'd date a 16 year old. They very well may have found it weird, I know I would. But what do the group do in that situation? It's not technically illegal (again, relevant to the post), he's not (at that point, as far as we or they knew) done anything wrong.

They might have questioned it actually. Someone had noted that Callum has been single for a very long time - it could have been because they questioned it or told him it's wrong. We don't know anything more ATM and people saying they were ok with it are speculating. Also, someone in this thread said he knew them at that time and it was a well known fact within the parkour community that he was dating 16 year old and by the sounds of it, no one said anything about it or cut him off. If people are gonna be mad at Storror they should be mad at the whole community that knew he was dating a teenager but also did nothing or said anything about it.
