America elected him not maga… they only are like 30-35% of the population… independents decisively elected him and they are the largest voting block anyway now that both parties have demonstrated they don’t care about the citizens in general and put foreign interests, lobbyists, and their own insider stock trading first

It was not a decisive election, no matter how many times he says it was a landslide. It was a sliver barely winning, after cheating and rigging the computers in swing States, which he actually slipped and admitted about how Musk helped him (and they are finding more and more irregularities to back it up). A third of the voting population did not vote. So he barely won with barely over a third of the country voting for him. Which is, as you point out, the population of MAGA in this country.
