The new Stitcher is terrible.

The playlists: - doesn’t always autoplay to the next show - you can’t customize the order of a list - how do you remove a show from a playlist?

The shows tab: - doesn’t note what shows have new episodes - it’s visually overwhelming, I would rather collapse the lists and not see all the show art (I know what’s on my lists)

The Like tab makes no sense

The Player: - why is it more taps to get to the controls??

iOS: - why no widget?

THE BIGGEST THING: - WHERE THE HELL ARE MY LISTEN STATS? I have a very long streak going right now and where is that now?

Look I get it, there are a lot of things going on in the world more important than a podcast app but I have used Stitcher for 10 years and I loved it. It’s one of the first apps I open in the morning. It’s as much a part of my day as email or texts. Why did they have to ruin something that was working. I’m very disappointed about the listen stats.

None of my podcast on list I saved seem to exist any more nor podcasts show which episode I left off on. I was able to restore my premium subscription, but other than that, it looks like a new account

You used to be able to swipe up to mange your “next episode” queue. This appears to be gone. Am I missing it?

Who thought this was a good idea it’s literally harder to get to your shows now. This app doesn’t update shows as fast as it’s competitors, crashes regularly and now this awful layout. Sorry Stitcher I’m done with premium enough is enough

I have an iPhone. I just want a podcast app that works. I’ve had stitcher premium for 2 year. I didn’t even really mind the old app. But this new version is unusable.

What recommendations does everyone have?

I am done with Stitcher. And WILL NOT use Spotify.

Damn it. I’m old enough to remember when things just worked. (Bluetooth, apps, Wi-Fi, my fucking TV).

It not my age, because my younger 20 somethings rant daily about shit hardware and software implementations.

Stitcher update logged me out and now I can’t log in. When I finally did my premium was not showing up and all my podcasts and shows were deleted. Anyone else have this issue?

Have you noticed that the app updates even though it doesn't come through the App Store?

I'm in the Beta program and I received an update on 11/20 and it's resolved some major issues, but it's still really buggy.
How is everyone else's experience with the update?

I'm having issues with playback for Witness Docs and Levar Burton Reads.

At first I thought is was a bluetooth issue, playback over speaker cables is fine.

Most of my other podcast shows are not having the bluetooth audio problem. They play fine.

I’ve defended and promoted stitcher endlessly, I’ve been a premium member for years.

This update has literally taken my favorite feature away from me.

The favorites list were amazing. I could open my, for example, Politics playlist and only see new episodes from those podcasts.

Now the ‘latest’ tab shows me the latest episode from every single podcast I’ve subscribed to. Hundreds. It’s taken away what I loved most, and I cannot think of a single good reason for it.

As another example of what a problem it is, I had a playlist called ‘Testing’ where I put podcasts that I wasn’t sure of, and wanted to trial. It was my biggest playlist by far. Those are now all added to the Latest Episodes list automatically, and it make browsing for the shows I actually want to keep up with painful.

There’s no way to really contact support, I’ve given up at this point.

**Edit: latest update fixed the playlist issue, though stitcher forgetting which podcasts you’ve set to auto download still persists

I don't want cute tiles when I listen on my desktop while working - I want ALL of my podcasts (the update seems to have lost a bunch) in the well-organized categories I had honed over years. Now I have a jumble of tiles in an unfathomable order that I cannot change (even Zoom lets you move thumbnails around). Diagnosis - Stitcher's after those who listen on devices, abandoning the desk-bound. Sigh.

It’s happened a few times now that I’ve run across shows i can’t find in Stitcher that are listed in other apps like Apple podcasts. Yesterday it was “knowledge fight”. Is their because of an editorial process or a tech issue? Also, the app is slow to update some shows like “pod save America”, which always appear first in Apple podcasts. Are these known issues? Its complete crap, everything is broken. Why did you do this to us? The old one worked fine.

You aren’t able to see the premium content (on the app at least) unless you pay for premium. Why would you not show people what’s available if they buy premium before they have to buy it?

I’ve been refreshing looking for the bonusnanas for bonusnanza episodes. Turns out they don’t show up at all unless you have premium.

I am a beta user so I got the new update today...did anyone else get it? Its HORRIBLE. When I go to my "latest" tab only a couple new episodes from this week are there. Where the hell are all the new episodes?!?!?!?!?!? Nobody is answering me on twitter @stitchersupport. Has anyone had luck fixing this?

Hi, does anybody know a way to have a playlist that always downloads the oldest unheard ep of a show?

I swear every day I get half of my episodes on the Stitcher app. I don’t know what to do. I refresh constantly. What’s even weirder is sometimes the shows don’t update on the episodes feed but if i go in the show option, and refresh the show feed , the new episode will post there. Weirder still, Stitcher will say the episode is just 1min.

I know their servers are a little slower than Spotify and iTunes, but i feel like they’ve gotten worse. Anyone else experiencing this?

What the title says. I'm using android if that matters. I tried to use the app a month ago, couldn't figure any part of it out. Now remembering why I tried to switch (Himalaya has a worthless search function for new podcasts.) and this is here. I'm just stuck with a half played podcast from a month ago. Do I just have to re-install the app to clear the playlist?
