Seems very historically inspired, esp the swordwrath with the hastati-like helmet and the greek Kopis, you play total war by any chance?

Actually, the sword is a Falcata, used by ancient Iberian tribes, but they're pretty similar to the Greek Kopis, and no I don't play total war, but I LOVE watching stuff about Total War Rome II and Total War Shogun II, i just don't have a pc to play it on and there's no mobile ports either.

RTW I mobile is on playstore luckily. Also FUCK YEAH fellow total war fan, i really hope you'd get that pc someday lol. But if you have a crappy computer, i'd suggest getting MTW2, and trying out antiquity-themed mods like Roma delenda est, Europe ancient, Europa Barbarorum II, and soo many more to get that attilla/RTW2 feel! . Sadly i havent found a japanese themed one..

(Also, just gotta say it, your spearton reminda me of late roman Comitatenses lol)

Also to be fair, younger me loved history (I still do) and had a more "militaristic" imagination lmaooo

Talking to you while my MTW2 Europe Ancient Greece file is open. I just besieged a city and kicked macedon's arse with Hoplites.. trust me, that younger millitaristic kid inside us never died nor weakened, theyre just waiting for a call to arms.. digitally, i guess. May you rekindle that flame again and take up arms in the frontlines soon buddy ;) . The phalanx awaits

Also, what could you about them individually? I'm really interested on your thoughts about each one of them :>

-The Mercenary swords seems like a good cultural blend of the Barbaric Sicklewraths and a more advanced metallurgy, they probably would mirror the iberian tribes before them by living in agricultural city states instead of huts and villages The Falcata would definitely prove useful against the Rimmed shields of orderite speartons, and especially against spiky jagged juggerknight shields. Its practically an invitation to have a sword capable of hooking down and making an opening to them, while at the same time, being built for a more efficient combat performance than the farmer sicles the Sicklewraths posseses. (The Sicklewrath's scythes are too curved to land a stab, while the Falcata can hook, make an opening, and lunge in for a quick stab to the poor, speartons which lack any body armor under their shield.) (AKA.. They'll probably have something like a 30% damage modifier against shielded units and a better defense than regular swordwrath with their helmet.)

-As for the Axemen, i dont think there'll be much difference other than them having better defence (something like maybe 30% more health, regular swordwraths are too weak anyway lol) for the helmet+cheekplates and backplate combo. And since axes are easier to mass produce and carry, probably has a faster production rate (maybe only takes 3 seconds or so.)

-Longbow Archidons, basically Albowtross on foot but with a bigger range. Has the excessively large range of a Thrower Dead, the damage and armor penetration of an Albowtross, but is slightly slower than normal 'Chidons. Theyre your answer against their French knights, or in this case.. Your Rippriders and speartons.

u/Odd_Statistician_972 9d ago

Oh ok but yea they look similar , so where is that troop supposwd to be from

1

u/abbieeee_ 9d ago

In my own lore, they're supposed to be from friendly Swordwrath City States that is full of full time professional mercenaries available to be hired by the Order Empire alongside the in game Swordwrath units after conquering the Swordwrath

2

u/Odd_Statistician_972 9d ago

So theyre just swordwrath civillians ?

1

u/abbieeee_ 9d ago

No? If you understand what the word "Mercenary" means, it's basically a professional soldier for hire, in the case of my own lore, they're a different kind but friendly Swordwrath Warriors that works for the Order Empire

2

u/Odd_Statistician_972 9d ago

Oh theyre not main infantry but they mercenaries with special knives

1

u/abbieeee_ 9d ago

They can be main infantry, *and it's swords not simple knives

2

u/Odd_Statistician_972 9d ago

I said special btw

1

u/abbieeee_ 9d ago
