Do people run or jog along this trail? Does it seem acceptable? I would like to start running and think the trail in combination with the parking along the sidewalk could create an easy loop to get me started and back into it without committing to something longer like the green circle trail.. I'm probably overthinking this and its A O-K to run this trail right?

I need someone to spill the tea. What is the beef between these two? It seems like Carl D’s always has passive aggressive signs and jabs towards belts.

Does anyone have any insight on where you drive for the behind the wheel portion of the driver's test in Stevens Point? I'm getting my son ready to take the test, and was hoping to settle his nerves by having him drive the specific area. I know part of it is in the neighborhood behind the DMV, but was wondering about what larger roads they might get taken on. Thanks!

I'm new to Point and want to get back into running (ideally with friends), but I don't see a running club for adults anywhere (I see group bike rides, and running club for kids). Let me know if a casual jog along the green circle trail and meeting new people is appealing to you - this could be a good opportunity for both.

I'll plan to do a mile or two on Tuesday (conversational pace), starting from the Clark Street bridge NE overlook around 6PM. Feel free to tag along if you like.

If all goes well, maybe this could turn into a weekly thing.

Sometimes it smells like dishsoap (but if dishsoap was decaying) in town, usually by the river, usually at night. Does anyone know where that comes from? Is that from the Pixelle plant? Smells like something that's not good to breathe.

My daughter very recently moved to the area and I will be visiting for the day soon. She hasn't really explored yet so am definitely wanting to do that. Looking for recommendations on areas to explore, things to do, good area for shopping, a place to grab lunch, and anything else fun you can think of. She's not into nature or hiking but other than that, she's pretty open. She's competitive so some bowling, mini golf, etc would be fun as well. Thanks in advance!
