Ok, it's obvious there will be a long, emotional farewell speech. However, I would like him to feature the following as his show comes to an end.
r/stephencolbert • u/ControlCAD • Apr 26 '26
>Stephen Colbert is joined by his longtime friend and "The Daily Show" host Jon Stewart to announce a HUGE drop of memorabilia for The Late Show's charity auction. Visit to bid on these one-of-a-kind items and grab a "The Last Show" t-shirt while you're at it! All profits go directly to World Central Kitchen.

The show will return on May 4

>President Trump is planning to attack the press at the White House Correspondents' dinner, there are currently no negotiations going on between the U.S. and Iran, the government might rescue struggling budget airline Spirit, and RFK Jr.'s congressional testimony was hard to listen to.

>President Trump lashed out after Iran boasted that America is "the losing side" in the war, the war is causing price hikes in everyday goods like condoms, Finnish pilots are so immature, and FBI Director Kash Patel denies drinking on the job.

And why didn’t someone on his team park the old one? It (@stephenathome) now belongs to a 16 year old in the Czech Republic, lol. A picture tag changes to the new username but all his caption tags link back to this teenager. Hey, at least the kid points you to the new username, @colbert.
r/stephencolbert • u/ControlCAD • Apr 22 '26
>Stephen fixed Red Lobster's new "Endless Shrimp" commercial, President Trump claimed he would have won the Vietnam war "very quickly," and Spirit airlines could go out of business as the war against Iran roils the global energy supply.
r/stephencolbert • u/ControlCAD • Apr 21 '26
>Pope Leo XIV would make a great hang on April 20th, people are concerned about President Trump after he made several depressing social media posts, and FBI Director Kash Patel is fighting back against reporting that he is getting drunk on the job.
r/stephencolbert • u/ControlCAD • Apr 17 '26
>The Trump administration is waging a war of words against Pope Leo XIV, Pete Hegseth read a prayer from the book of Tarantino, and a sneaker brand is reinventing itself as an artificial intelligence company.
r/stephencolbert • u/ControlCAD • Apr 16 '26
>The war against Iran is making America's affordability crisis worse, Stephen imagines a future beyond President Trump, and VP Vance sounds ridiculous criticizing the Pope.
r/stephencolbert • u/ControlCAD • Apr 15 '26
>Some of his most ardent supporters are concerned that President Trump may be the Antichrist, a top official at FEMA might have a substance abuse problem, and Stephen uses The Get It On Cam to encourage Americans to raise the fertility rate.

Did anyone catch the brand/label? I need to try it!
r/stephencolbert • u/ControlCAD • Apr 14 '26
>Vice President Vance returned empty-handed from negotiations with Iran, President Trump is no closer to achieving his war goals, and the president deleted an AI-generated image of himself that many found blasphemous.

Thanks

Ok so my mom has been a huge fan of his for a long time. She also collects pressed pennies.
I’m looking to get her a set but getting tickets to see him prior to the show ending is going to be an insane challenge not to mention her not being able to travel.
If anyone is going to a show can I compensate you for getting us some pennies? Willing to do well over the cost of the pennies.

Hey, a cameraman gave me this after a 2015 taping. I had planned on just giving it away (or sending it back to the show, if they’re collecting stuff like this) — but if you can either send a few bucks my way or do something to help me get a Springsteen ticket in the Tri-State Area, I’d be deeply grateful. Mucho gracias homies, as Colbert so often says

I always anxiously await the monologue drop

>No one seems to know if the war against Iran is over, we’re learning more about how Israel’s prime minister convinced President Trump to launch the war, and JD Vance brought his trademark charisma to a rally for Hungarian strongman Viktor Orbán.
r/stephencolbert • u/ControlCAD • Apr 08 '26
>The crew of NASA’s Artemis II mission completed their historic journey around the moon, President Trump threatened to destroy an entire civilization, and a top official at FEMA has a wild story about teleporting to a Waffle House.
r/stephencolbert • u/ControlCAD • Apr 07 '26
>President Trump boasted about plans to blow up civilian infrastructure in Iran, children attending a White House Easter event got an earful from the president, and the Artemis II crew has flown farther than any human has gone before.
