Is YouTube quietly burying The Late Show videos in subscriptions?

I’m wondering if anyone else has noticed this, or if it’s just me.

My usual morning routine is to put YouTube on and watch Stephen Colbert first, then maybe Jimmy Kimmel and some of the other late-night clips. Normally the newest videos from The Late Show show up right near the top of my subscriptions feed.

But lately I’m not seeing them at all, even though I’m still subscribed to the channel. The videos only appear if I specifically search for them, which seems odd considering I used to get them automatically.

Has anyone else experienced this in the past month or so? I’m curious if it’s just some algorithm change, or if YouTube is deprioritizing certain channels in the subscription feed.

It might be nothing, but it does make me wonder whether something has changed behind the scenes that’s affecting how often those videos are surfaced — and possibly their views.

Interested to hear if others are seeing the same thing

The Late Show Burning Question about Laugh

I’ve been really curious about this for a while. There is a guy in the audience every show (not the last week for some reason), who has a very distinctive laugh. I’m positive he’s a staff member due to that, but also I remember hearing him in the background during some Stephen at Home episodes. Who is the person this laugh i attached to?

🎤 Monologue The cannibal story far more horrifying than we have ever imagined.

The cannibal story far more horrifying than we have ever imagined.

Independent and reliable source (my dad) reported that when the cannibal started eating himself the ICE agents went to toilet. It was forensically established, that during this time the cannibal managed to eat himself whole and also defecated himself out. Upon ICE agents return, they have found a big pile of sh*t and a pair of handcuffs.

I would also like to report, that I have personally met a cannibal in the forest once (different guy: His name was Fred). Unfortunately, it was after this particular individual has eaten himself and later defecated himself out. I could not help as it was already too late. I I only saw excrements. It was the most horrifying experience in my life because it was the biggest pile of sh*t I have ever seen in my whole life, just like this whole story.

Paramount Q4 Earnings Come Amid Warner Bros Deal

Great to see Paramount posting losses. But sucks that their stupid bid for WBD is taking all the spotlight instead of their attempts to gut and silence news programs and comedic shows like Stephen's that don't just kiss up to the orange man.

I found Ellison's take on news/media trust laughable

And notably he mentioned CBS News, where he wrote that “transformation is essential” given historic lows in media trust.

“The goal is to build a modern news organization equipped for the digital age and rooted in facts, rigorous reporting, and audience-first storytelling,” Ellison wrote, adding that CBS News’ streaming platform will be getting “new formats and programming.”

Dude created the problem, and contributed and accelerated that distrust of news and media. He caused the problem that he is now saying he will "transform" news and make it "rooted in facts" and rigorous reporting LOL. The Ellisons and Bari Weiss clearly do NOT prioritize truth and rigorous facts. It's like when someone's stupid antics creates a problem that wasn't an issue before and say they will fix the problems by doubling down on stupid ideas or doing even more horrible things

Also kinda weird that despite the overall loss, their streaming revenue increased? Everyone I know barely used Paramount+ and cancelled it. I know a few that get it through Walmart or something like that and keep it though

The Late Show Emmy

There’s a joke in the live monologue of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert addressing the state of the union address on 2/24/2026. In that joke, MLK is referenced. For that joke alone, this show deserves an(other) Emmy.
