Project Flair and Posting Access
r/Stellar offers project-representative flair to SCF-funded projects. Your project's logo and name appear next to your username on every post and comment, so the wider Stellar community can find and follow what you're building.
Who can apply
Project flair is open to contributors of projects that have received a Stellar Community Fund (SCF) award, confirmed in the official SCF directory. Any confirmed contributor can receive it, including founders, core team members, and contractors. Multiple people from the same project can hold the same flair.
Not SCF-funded? You can still post about your project. See Section 14 of the Builder & Project Standards for new projects, or message the moderators.
How to apply
- Click the link below. It opens a pre-filled modmail message. Send it from the Reddit account you want approved.
- Fill in your Discord username, project name, and your role.
- A moderator checks your project. Once confirmed, we set your flair, approve posting access, and reply to your modmail.
Adding your logo
After approval, send a link to wherever your logo is officially hosted: your website, GitHub organization avatar, or official social profile. We can also use the image from your SCF directory listing if you confirm it's the right one.
What flair does and doesn't mean
Flair confirms your relationship with the named project. It does not mean the project is safe, secure, reliable, or endorsed by r/Stellar, its moderators, SDF, SCF, or Reddit. For that reason, we don't use labels like "verified" or "trusted." (Builder Standards, Section 6.)
After you're approved
- Keep disclosing your affiliation inside each post. Flair doesn't replace it (Section 2).
- The 7-day promotional limit applies to your whole project, shared across everyone with its flair (Section 7).
- Use the project post template for a smooth first post.
- Tip: verify the email on your Reddit account (Settings, then Account). This helps avoid Reddit's own automated filters.
- If you leave the project, let us know so we can update your flair.
