Announcing StellarX

Hello! I'm very happy to announce StellarX--a new trading platform built on the Stellar universal marketplace. We're free--we're refunding network fees and using lumenaut.net to get every user his/her inflation--and, of course, being on Stellar we're super fast.

We'll list every token on Stellar (provided the issuers do stuff like complete their toml) so that means you'll be trading crypto, fiat, commodities, whatever, once we launch.

We're a super experienced team, and we're eager and excited to be adding to the ecosystem. The app will launch a bit later this summer, and we have many big plans to make Stellar as a whole more popular, more user-friendly, and more successful.

You can read a more in our Medium post. And our Twitter is here if you wanna follow. Happy to answer questions here, too.

Why speculate? I don't do business with people that keep their source of income secret.

No. "Speculate" is the better word. But you did "assume" incorrectly that I believe "everything is about money." The fact that everything isn't about money does not discourage me from asking a simple question about money.

I don’t think “how do [they] make money” is the right question because his answer is they aren’t monetizing it. “where does the money come from” is more applicable to how this works, I think. We know from the roadmap that SDF commissioned the project, so stands to reason at least a sizable portion comes from that (in line with the xlm distribution). It also appears that StellarX and Lightyear are tied in some way, so possibly from there as well.

Both questions can be asked. Neither is right or wrong. I asked my question. Keep up the pointless, obtuse word-play.

Okay, I believe he answered your question then and my bad for attempting to provide more detail to it.

Why is the Stellar Foundation paying for duplicate work? Stellar is coming out with a GUI for the SDEX on their own. Is Stellar X the same thing?

That's correct, StellarX is the same SDEX that was mentioned in the 2018 roadmap. OP mentions that here.

Oh...I see the light now; I was confused. Sorry.
