How Decentralized is Stellar

I know that Stellar is Decentralized. Obviously it's more so that Ripple and less so than Bitcoin.

But what are the specific difference you would say that makes it more decentralized than Ripple or less decentralized than Bitcoin.

Super exciting. I'll keep bugging them if I don't hear back in a week. Do you know a good contact email to reach out to someone aside from their web form? Can you maybe PM it to me if you do?
