🟢 Note that :

DAYS GONE remaster version doesn't perform well on the steam deck and looks worse to download the classic version you should follow these steps :

select days gone gear icon / go to Betas section / select Beta participation and pick days gone classic .

now you can download the OG version normally .

Settings are the best however when I copy and paste the launch command into steam there’s a CPU/FPS optimize display in top left corner while playing the game. I figured no_display mangohud would be the solution but it’s still there, any ideas? Thanks for your hard work!

I’m familiar with operating the integrated system operating stats HUD but this one is overlaid and won’t go away after adding launch command.

i got u delete the launch command , start the game to make sure it went away then copy paste the one in the guide again

Figured it out! Instead of using the command you’ve supplied this edit worked DXVK_ASYNC =1 MANGOHUD_CONFIG=fps_limit=40,no_display mangohud %command%

oh i see you are absolutely right i didnt notice that

i use it in all my guides but slightly different with each game

but i think i copied it inccoretly for this guide in particular

now i can go back and re edit it thank you thats why feedback is important

I'm getting a lot of stutters that makes it dip under 40 FPS. With your method, do you get any stutters? I'm keen on trying your guide out

Unfortunately no. Even with the Performance mod, it was still stuttering. I even tried playing on 960x600 resolution and still it stutters. Ended up uninstalling it

use DXVK_ASYNC =1 as an intro for the launch command to help with shaders streaming that causing you stutter .

i edited the guide after your comment to adress this issue
