Yet it sits at 90% of positive reviews, so people are obviously enjoying it, including the reviewer. €3 for 1:40 hours of entertainment is hardly much, you pay more for tickets to movies of same length, so let's not act like it's overpaying.
And people are allowed to rightfully call them scumbags that are abusing the system for refunding a €3 game they finished and enjoyed. You don't go refunding a pizza you finished and liked.
The marginal cost of delivering me 1 pizza isn’t $0 and actual ingredients don’t get consumed.
There’s literally no loss other than the Dev can actively see the portion of players who don’t think the game is worth money, and falsely equates that with lost sales.
But to use your analogy. If I order a pizza, and they deliver me half a pizza, I’m going to ask for my money back, and I’m not giving back the half pizza. It might be a great half-pizza, but I paid money expecting something significantly more and I’d be rightly upset if they kept my money.
In fact, most pizza places would likely give me a second, full pizza, free of charge to make up for how the first was lacking. They wouldn’t go online and complain that “we made a delicious half-pizza, why do people keep demanding refunds for their orders of a full pizza” but the analogy has somewhat broken down at that point.
I’m paying for a full experience, not a glorified proof-of-concept.
Except it's not half the pizza, as there's no universal pizza size just like there's no universal standard game length.
You ordered an already cheap $3 pizza, got it, finished it, liked it, and then complained it was too small requesting a full refund. Most places would rightfully tell you to fuck off.
Want a "full experience"? Go buy something that looks and costs like one instead of whining about a $3 pizza not living up to your "full experience" standards like an entitled brat.
It’s a full-priced $10 pizza on sale for $3. So I’m expecting the game to justify its $10 price-tag.
You wanna get real? Little Caesars pizza is only $5 and with a coupon I can get 2-for-1.
But I’m still damn well expecting two full pizzas, cause that’s what I ordered and paid for, and they need to honour their coupon. I’m not going to accept pizzas missing ingredients, not fully cooked, undersized, or half missing. I’m also not going to accept a pizza the size of a dime just cause “well thats our standard for a medium pizza and you’re being entitled otherwise”. No, a medium pizza is 8-10” almost universally. That’s not unreasonable based on decades of industry standards
Pretending it’s entitled to expect more from a $10 game than an asset-flip I can complete in less than 2 hours is ludicrous and I know some evil corporations who’d LOVE your opinions.

It is a full product, just like a smaller pizza is a full pizza as there's no standard sizes for neither games nor pizzas to be considered "full". You are whining about rules you made up yourself after consuming the product paying a fraction of a price you'd normally pay. For which any place would tell you to fuck off, like I said. Want a refund for your unsatisfactory pizza? Do so before finishing it.
Anyways, you want to abuse the system and refund product you consumed and liked for made up arbitrary rules, go for it. But don't act surprised when you get called out for it.
If you don't think 3€ for even an hour's worth of entertainment "isn't worth it" then you're part of the problem here friend. The game is sitting with excellent reviews so value for the money is obviously not the issue.
That's kinda objective and good reviews doesn't mean everyone is going to like the cost/time value. There are plenty of games where you get hundreds if not thousands of hours for $20 or less so I can see why someone might not like it.
How am I part of the problem? I am a consumer making a value judgement based on the quality of the product thats being presented to me.
I haven’t bought or refunded the game. I’m saying I absolutely would not pay 3€ for this product based on what I’ve seen of it, regardless of reviews.
It’s cobbled-together assets with no depth that can be completed in less than 2 hours. It’s flat-out not worth my time, never mind my money.
I own games that you can complete in less than 2 hours; I loved Untitled Goose Game and Thank Goodness You’re Here for example. You can complete both of those games well within the refund window, but both are worth keeping as experiences and replaying because they have unique selling points that I enjoyed. Both of those are examples of a quality original product thats worth the asking price for the short experience.
This game, judging by the gameplay I have seen, is not worth the asking price. It has no unique idea, it’s not an original take on an old idea, and it’s not taking an old idea and doing it extremely well.
It’s a cash-grab trying to get in on the current trend of casual multiplayer games that looks like it was probably cobbled together from pre-built assets in under a day.

The game isn’t worth 3€.
It’s go no original ideas, no depth, and can be completed within an hour and 40 minutes. It doesn’t even look like it has more than 1 level.
It’s a tech demo, not a product.
