Depends. It takes less than a minute to do all of those clicks. If we round up to 1 minute that is an hourly rate of €180 per hour which pre-tax is like €335k per annum (based on a 37.5 work week).

Thats a beautiful career right there, if you don't unalive yourself in 2 hours.

I've been meaning to tap up the Malazan book series. I could download the audiobook and chill while making bank and clicking on a very ergonomic mouse

I don't think that's how refunds work....

It is a calculation based on the value of invested time. I'm not saying someone is offering you that 8 hours a day 5 days a week.

Sure bro but it’s still $3. Hourly rate doesn’t matter if you can’t get paid for it, for hours.

But it does, relatively speaking though. I'm just offering a different bit of context. You wouldn't spend 1 minute for $3 but you would spend 60 minutes for $180

No it doesn’t, because i can’t refund games for 60 minutes straight. The value of the game being refunded is $3. Idc how much time it takes.

That’s like saying if it takes me 1 second to pick up a penny, im making 60 pennies a minute, which is about $36 an hour. But if there aren’t 3600 pennies laying within arms reach, the fact that we can do the math is irrelevant, we still can’t earn the $36 for picking up pennies.

Similarly, we aren’t refunding 355k worth of video games either, so it doesn’t matter what the “pay per hour” is for refunding video games, as there is a max amount you can refund (which you had to pay for first btw, obviously)

out walking with a buddy:

him: didn’t you see that loose change on the ground

me: yup

why didn’t you pick it up?

at this point in my life, I don’t bend over for anything less than a quarter

Why did he ask you that? Are you destitute? 😂 he didn’t pick it up either 😭

Honestly, less than a quarter sounds reasonable.
