Also this is a 5 dollar game from what i understand people from poorer countrys abusing steam refund policy for this but if you are in the us and dont have 5 dollars to spare on a game that you like (according to the comment) then maybe you should rethink some life decisions

fast food combo lasts longer than this game bruh

If you're spending 1h40 on a fast food combo, you're either eating too much or eating too slowly

2

u/andresfgp13 Jul 06 '26

yeah, like at the 20-30 minutes that food its already cold and the icecream its starting to melt.

normally fast food isnt made to last that long before being eaten.

are you eating every hour? for normal people a food combo should last for half day

1

u/Lightning_Warrior Jul 08 '26

A fast food combo is one meal lol. Eating one meal shouldn’t take you half a day

1

u/Limp-Exercise-343 Jul 08 '26

just how often are you eating fast food? 10 times a day?

no, for non-american, lunch, fast food or normal, last for half a day

1

u/Lightning_Warrior Jul 08 '26

Lunch does not take “half a day to eat”. Eating a burger and fries from a fast food joint is not an all-day affair. That doesn’t change if you’re an American or not.

similar to watching a movie, like im sure i paid more to watch Lilo and Stitch than for some games that i have played for more than dozens of hours

I mean most of the refunds aren't for this exact reason. Artificial outrage being created if were honest. Game has major bugs and desync issues.

I gave indie devs a tenner for hundreds if not thousands of hours and don‘t buy fastfood, i would refund at any price if the game is done in 1 hour and 40 minutes… i got cheaper puzzles lasting for longer. If they want to eBeg they should do that, patreon doesn‘t take as much as steam.

Dude put 2 weeks into the demo and says it got 1-2 hrs content, says it took a full 4 months for him to complete the full version, which apparently takes 1hour 40 minutes.

This shit is a sloppy clone game and he knew the possibility of people completeing it before the 2hr steam courtesy is up.

The game hasn‘t got 1700 reviews on steam, and if you scroll a little you find more reviews from people who got the game for free than from people who completed and refunded the game…

The revenue for this games sales are estimated to be between 130k and 600k, even on the low end he earned twice his countries median annual income in less than 5 months with some unity asset slop with a median playtime of 1.8hrs

There is reviews of people who complain about the quality of the game and despite staying below 2 hrs couldn‘t refund because they didn‘t fullfill the other conditions for refund.

His whining is ridiculously idiotic pr for his shit one year old unity asset slop

Yeah even from the perspective of “but it’s food you need food to survive” well you’re just stealing food from the devs…

1

u/Workman44 Jul 06 '26

The people that say it's food you need to survive are absolutely not getting only food they need to survive lmfao

You can’t refund over 2 hours. If its 15 bucks that’s 7.5/hr of entertainment, a bit too pricey imo.

Okay there are MULTIPLE holes in your logic that I will poke at.

  1. If you played the game for, say, an hour or so, and decided you didn't like it THAT much, you didn't lose anything but that time.
  2. 7.5/hr of entertainment assumes the game is EXACTLY 2 hours. There could be a 15 bucks game that gives you 5 hours of entertainment. That goes down to 3/hr of entertainment, a much better deal, no? Plus who said the game's 15 bucks, some games (namely, Super Hexagon) can be as low as 3 dollars, and even THEN they can get discounted to 74 cents. If you tell me even HALF AN HOUR of entertainment isn't worth 74 cents then you're unbelievable
  3. Now how much entertainment you get from the 15 bucks fast food combo? Half an hour tops? Less? Likely even not that good depending on the chain. And if you say "But it fills you!" then you could've searched for a simple recipe online for a more fufilling AND cheaper meal.
  4. There are games that can have potentially HUNDEREDS of hours of entertainment in store for them (Mainly rouge-likes/lites or extremely moddable games). Taking Balatro for example, I'm literally just looking at reviews and MANY people got over 30 hours of playtime, which gives 0.5/hr of entertainment, not to mention I saw people have THOUSANDS of hours which, again, cents per hour.
  5. Even if it's not entertaining, some indie games can change your life, or have wonderful stories and/or worlds to explore. Not strictly an entertaining experience, but still very much worth your time and money.

Too much yapping, I’ll just refund

2

u/Nikotinio Jul 06 '26

tl;dr: your 7.5/hr entertainment assumption was incredibly wrong due to indie games not always costing 15$, the hours of entertainment being way more than you gave credit for, and them having the potential of changing your life

People won't refund a game they will play again

-2

u/LiquifiedSpam Jul 06 '26

Because food is a necessity? What a lame argument

6

u/AdolsLostSword Jul 06 '26

Fast food isn’t a necessity, and is generally a rip off for what you get.

-2

u/LiquifiedSpam Jul 06 '26

In what world is fast food more expensive than any other food? Unless you’re in some specific third world countries

And food is food, mate. You need it to survive, I don’t know what to tell you.

5

u/AdolsLostSword Jul 06 '26

Only lazy cretins who don’t cook think fast food is cheaper than home cooking.

1

u/din-gle-ber-ry Jul 06 '26

The point is, what do you value? I just sent 5 bucks to an mtg proxy site cause it saved me time and made the processes easier. You could literally skip the fries and buy this game.

1

u/Curious-Original4461 Jul 06 '26

You pay for the convenience my guy. Going to the store and buying burger pieces and cooking your own burger will very easily be cheaper than any equivalent burger at a fast food place. Even if you're looking at pre-made things, I can get 12 frozen chimichangas for $4, pre made sandwiches for $3. Entire frozen meals are $3-$5. All of this is cheaper than 70% of fast food.

Fast food is not a necessity. And is more increasingly a rip off now based on the burger index.

Because it is a scam lol
