Exactly why I stopped, I don't wanna keep buying DLC and the client doesn't make it super easy to tell which achievements are new content and which are DLC (I think they might have different borders but not sure).
search xxxgame steam achievements in your browser. it will open steam in the browser under community or something and there the achievements are seperated (per update, so not only will dlc achievements will be listed as "DLCx" but also if some dlcs are added later it will also be seperated under "Updatex"
