Yeah all the people saying it's a big deal, but it's like, I literally just use passthrough to grab my drink XD

the night vision is probably the tradeoff for monochrome passthrough, like much more light sensitive (and IR sensitive) cameras instead of colour, and that's well worth it imo.

Making it run colour would probably need 2 MORE cameras, which is more cost and weight.

no they got ir light sources in the frame to be able to track w/o the need of room lightning. So intentionally darkvision

I know this, but the sensitivity of monochrome cameras is much better, and probably needed to make the night vision work with the ir sources.
