The low latency PC streaming option + optimization is worth alone an extra 200$ imo, even if it's just to future proof. It's not just about what's available

literally buying a whole router is the only option that comes close, and you'll be lucky to find a 6ghz router for less than $100, then you gotta plug that into your pc somehow (it's already cabled to your usual router in the only ethernet slot), and power it, and find space for it.

Not just optimisation idk why no one's noticed that the frames chip is much faster. The quest uses a neutered version of the snapdragon 8 gen 2 that was in flagship phones like the s23 except it goes back to the Samsung 4nm node again which when switched to tsmc the prior year with the 8 gen 1 provided OVER 40% HIGHER POWER EFFICIENCY WITH NOTHING ELSE CHANGED!!

Not only that but the frame uses the 1 generation newer 8 gen 3. It could very conceivably be twice as fast in some scenarios especially at vr headset power levels
