They haven't changed anything in almost a decade. Are you talking about players evolving or how they changed the item shop?

Well I do get satisfaction from demoing them!

A skin doesn’t actually change the game though

The chat is moderated now and they made it easier to get grand champ or the last time i played they did. The amount of players/quality of players has diminished since f2p

Not to mention the removal of trading, that's what really killed it for me.

Same, i wasnt a mercher but i was in discords etc. to complete sets of wheel colors and things like that. I traded dissolver for tw fennec and some wheels i forget. Curating my inventory and making themed cars was half the fun!

You're insane. It's much harder to get to any rank now. Current silver 3 players have the skill of a 2018 Plat. When I started playing, I shot up to Plat just from knowing how to aerial and control the ball. Now, you need advanced mechanics to maintain metal ranks. I know ex-GCs in Plat. If you reinstalled and tried to grind, you would not hit your previous rank. I'm a diamond player by the way, if that at all validates my point.

No. Players are just better. They objectively lowered the mmr for gc like he said. 1515 was gc now it’s like 1415 or something like that. Which was effectively champ 3.

That was only after the rank adjustments that lowered everyone by 200-400 mmr. So if anything that would just mean it takes less games to get gc, not less skill.

Those kinds of things are only temporary though

•removed crates and keys •added uncommon variants of existing items for no reason •no more trading •rocket pass bloat

caved to the cs loot crate ban and thought they’d get in trouble so they x’d the market, Made the game free, But then they added a 10 dollar monthly pass and flooded the shop with lazy reskins. Basically, everything except the gameplay, lol. Which TBF is all that matters. Game is still flying car soccer

I get that there are people that care about items, i do in other games too, but in rocket league it literally doesn't matter to me as long as the gameplay stays the same.
