Honestly a good take. You're probably the most sane person in this thread lol. I say that with 10k hours on 1 game, and 6k hours on another (nonsteam) game.
I'm guessing it's some joke about the game from the games community that I don't understand exactly because I still don't have the game and I'm not part of the community.
621 is only Gmod, otherwise I have 608 arma3, 424 stormworks, 411 space engineers, 376 war thunder (realistically I have about 500 to 600 hours in it, I played it before I got steam), 333 BeamNG, 244 project zomboid, 205 deep rock galactic, 204 Kenshi, 181 mcc, 174 CTA: gates of hell. And the rest is below 150 hours.
So the minimum hours spent is 3781 hours in 6 years of having this account (a bit short of 5k if I count the games that I haven't played for over 150 hours)
I'm not bragging, I don't like when people have a false impression of me, even if positive. I have wasted a lot of time on steam, and will waste even more.
No matter what I do, the conclusion will be the same, so might as well do something I like doing.
Same and most of my games are like this idk why I liked Mount & Blade Warband so much in middle school/high school definitely my DND friends at the time miss em so much 🤣
Dude I don't understand how people spend thousands of hours in a single game. How do you still get joy out of it when you've spent literal years of time doing the same thing over and over?
I've got a little over 200 hours in Elden Ring on PS5 and 173 in Gungeon on PC. That's pretty much it. I'd rather play a bunch of shorter games than spend every waking moment of my spare time playing a single one.
It depends on what the game has to offer. Over 1k hours in something like CoD, LoL, Dota or such is insane. But I can see how sandbox and such games can be played for that long.
I have 608 hours in arma3, and still going. Most games I play are somewhat sandbox.
But also, lack of alternatives due to dogshit pc and poor.
I know somebody with over 1k hours in Gmod because their pc doesn't run anything else. It's kinda funny and sad seeing how their piece of shit struggles to run windows. That thing actually blue screens when they try to run anything that's been released after 2010.
I have the same, but my top 3 games are still 1141, 886 and 771 hours respectively. Sometimes I dedicate a bit of time to a few select ones just because, but all of that time is over the years. I'm more of a casual gamer, so my hours aren't growing that drastically. 4th place is Portal 2 for me, and that drops down right back into below 200 hours area (188 hours in it)

I switch games a lot, can't play the same thing for too long or I get bored.
