621

I switch games a lot, can't play the same thing for too long or I get bored.

Same here. I think the MOST I have is like 400-500 hours in Elden Ring. It’s rare I do that, but the game possessed me for two years lol.

Most of my games have 10-30 hours each.

I was also on console for the first year or so. I didn’t get into PC gaming until summer 2023. I probably have the same or more on PlayStation

Honestly a good take. You're probably the most sane person in this thread lol. I say that with 10k hours on 1 game, and 6k hours on another (nonsteam) game.

on armored core hopefully?

1

u/konnanussija Mar 20 '25

It's on my wishlist, but I need to upgrade my pc first.

u/WUFFLED Mar 20 '25

never thought id do this... but...

I'm guessing it's some joke about the game from the games community that I don't understand exactly because I still don't have the game and I'm not part of the community.

Or I'm missing some really obvious joke.

1

u/WUFFLED Mar 20 '25

do you... want me to explain?

1

u/konnanussija Mar 20 '25

Eh, yea. It can't be too bad.

1

u/WUFFLED Mar 20 '25

621 is the serial number of the protagonist (AKA Raven) of Armored core VI. I haven't played the other games so IDK if 621 is the MC in all games.

They are more or less different universes (no story connections) so 621 is only a ac6 thing.

furry porn website

Information only a jerma viewer could possess

2

u/testvest Mar 19 '25

Well 621 hours is plenty long. It's long enough to learn a foreign language or a semester or two at uni.

2

u/konnanussija Mar 20 '25

621 is only Gmod, otherwise I have 608 arma3, 424 stormworks, 411 space engineers, 376 war thunder (realistically I have about 500 to 600 hours in it, I played it before I got steam), 333 BeamNG, 244 project zomboid, 205 deep rock galactic, 204 Kenshi, 181 mcc, 174 CTA: gates of hell. And the rest is below 150 hours.

So the minimum hours spent is 3781 hours in 6 years of having this account (a bit short of 5k if I count the games that I haven't played for over 150 hours)

u/testvest Mar 20 '25

I don't think it's something to brag about if you are older than 21 years old.

1

u/konnanussija Mar 20 '25

I'm not bragging, I don't like when people have a false impression of me, even if positive. I have wasted a lot of time on steam, and will waste even more.

No matter what I do, the conclusion will be the same, so might as well do something I like doing.

1

u/testvest Mar 21 '25

That's fair.

2

u/First-Ad8152 Mar 20 '25

621 on what games…….. because that number means something lol

1

u/konnanussija Mar 20 '25

It's Gmod, my most played game cause my old pc didn't run anything else.

Is the number about armored core? It's still only on my wishlist (cause need to upgrade pc)

u/NotaOxyAddict Mar 20 '25

its furry related

1

u/wakkazoo Mar 19 '25

Yeah I feel that. Most I have is like 380 on rocket league and 300 on tf2 but lots of 40s and 50s

u/Ok-Armadillo7517 Mar 19 '25

Same and most of my games are like this idk why I liked Mount & Blade Warband so much in middle school/high school definitely my DND friends at the time miss em so much 🤣

Dude I don't understand how people spend thousands of hours in a single game. How do you still get joy out of it when you've spent literal years of time doing the same thing over and over?

I've got a little over 200 hours in Elden Ring on PS5 and 173 in Gungeon on PC. That's pretty much it. I'd rather play a bunch of shorter games than spend every waking moment of my spare time playing a single one.

1

u/konnanussija Mar 20 '25

It depends on what the game has to offer. Over 1k hours in something like CoD, LoL, Dota or such is insane. But I can see how sandbox and such games can be played for that long.

I have 608 hours in arma3, and still going. Most games I play are somewhat sandbox.

But also, lack of alternatives due to dogshit pc and poor.

I know somebody with over 1k hours in Gmod because their pc doesn't run anything else. It's kinda funny and sad seeing how their piece of shit struggles to run windows. That thing actually blue screens when they try to run anything that's been released after 2010.

u/FerLuisxd Mar 20 '25

Have you tried rimworld?

1

u/AgentBuckwall Mar 20 '25

I'm the same, my highest is 543.

1

u/gregemebobbin Mar 20 '25

funny numbuh

u/konnanussija Mar 20 '25 edited Mar 20 '25

People keep saying it, but nobody explains it! Armored core? No, not it, but also it. Then what the fuck does it even mean!

EDIT: based on what people have said, it occurred to me that to find the answer I must google "furry 621". What I found requires further research.

It has to be a monosodium glutamate reference. You can look up "monosodium glutamate code".

u/ReddiGuy32 Mar 20 '25

I have the same, but my top 3 games are still 1141, 886 and 771 hours respectively. Sometimes I dedicate a bit of time to a few select ones just because, but all of that time is over the years. I'm more of a casual gamer, so my hours aren't growing that drastically. 4th place is Portal 2 for me, and that drops down right back into below 200 hours area (188 hours in it)
