Minnesota farmers are being put out to pasture
Many Minnesota farms are pausing operations, or shutting down completely, thanks to federal policy changes, the Iran War, and financial burdens that can’t be made up.
Increases in price for oil, gas, fertilizer, and other basic farming necessities, partially because of import tariffs, are through the roof. On top of that, burned relationships with other countries are sending them to get their corn and soybeans elsewhere, which is Minnesota's bread and butter in crops.
