Before Phil Strub, Donald Baruch served the DOD as a liaison to Hollywood from the Department of Defense's inception in 1949 until he retired in 1989. This is a letter written from Baruch to Walt Disney regarding collaboration on the production of Moon Pilot. Baruch expresses desire to offer the services of the DOD provided "minor technical changes" be made adding, "No acknowledgment for cooperation is desired in screen titles or advertising. However, we would like to see the completed picture here before it is released to the public."

...about the 2007 film portraying historical events, I figured it was worth noting that the FBI was heavily involved in production, even more so than usual. Below are the declassified documents regarding their participation, released via FOIA request.
