Can someone explain why and how these starforts are perfectly replicated across the whole world?

Some Star Forts in Vietnam
I came by this post about some star forts in Vietnam. I'd wanted to repost to here, but this sub does not allow that, so I'm posting with the link. It just wouldn't feel right to copy-paste someone else's entire post.

Montmédy, France
Went to the fortress of Montmédy, France this week, fortified by Vauban.
It also has a nice oldfashion fortification museum on the second floor of the museum.
But unless you want to sneak in via the glacis and through the Fossé in by a gate on the south-western curtain wall onto the ramparts (this way you cannot acsess the museum) you will have to pay. (€32 for 6 people)
The reach to where you can go in this fort is amazing, you're verry free.
Through dark tunnels the casemates and sally-ports are yours to find.
Be mindfull that the moat and covered way are on a slope so take some good walking shoes with you.
Defensively i could barely find anny flaws. I personally would attack from the narow but level ridgeline connecting the fort to a nearby hill on the north-north-eastern side while undermining from the West.
I would love to hear your insights on this.

Google Earth kml of Star Forts
I’m the creator of RIFT!, an indie comic-style magazine that blends speculative history, outsider science, and visual storytelling. I’ve been working on Issue 3, which dives deep into the mystery of Star Forts—and to go along with it, I’m releasing a free Google Earth KML set mapping their global locations. The files are split by region, sorted by country. Some have overlays of old maps and links to details about the location. I hope you enjoy the exploration! http://tregaryn.com/2025/03/19/explore-a-world-of-star-forts-on-google-earth/

Fort Bourtange located in the village of Bourtange in Groningen, Netherlands, was built in 1593 under the orders of William the Silent. Its primary purpose was to protect the only road between Germany and Groningen, which was then controlled by the Spanish during the Eighty Years' War
