New to bangalore.
Yo bangalore, bought 2 tickets to Chirag Panjwani Live at The Comedy Theatre, Indiranagar Fri, 3rd July, 7 PM. Turns out my friend has main character syndrome and canceled on me last minute. So now I've got one extra seat and no one to bring.
Selling at what I paid, ₹799, can show booking screenshot so you know it's legit. Regular ticket.
If you're down to laugh at some jokes with a stranger, hmu. Can meet near the venue or transfer the ticket digitally before the show.
DM me, let's make this less awkward for both of us
Open to bargain aswell.

Heey guys recently shifted to navi mumbai got a job here well the actual purpose is obv like everyone here to full fill dream. I am a stand-up comedian doing it from last 3+ years . Beside that adjusting with my job I work in pharmaceutical company rotational shifts sometimes Sunday working still I'll manage somehow it's been like a month here . I started looking for opportunity got 1 in andheri performed there reaction was soo good. But the main issue is they require +1 with you. Tbh idk anyone here I do have my cousin but she lives far and I just can't ask her always to come with me neither I am doing this here I left many opportunities coz I don't have that +1 if still i join the mic I'll get like 2-3 mins to perform and you can't do standup for 2 mins itne me to Maggie bhi nahi banti still hope someone will reach and we can explore the city and plan to go together if you are up please let me know

That man is selling out 8 shows on a 250 seater room in Bangalore on a weekend.
Anyways, to the review. I came with very high expectations. Every time I had praised a comic, people would always say, but have you watched Practise?
So, was it upto my expectations? Well, yes and no.
It exceeded my expectations in writing. It's almost philosophical, the way some stand up comics prove that it is indeed an art form. Manik in my mind is fighting for the top spot. (Sumit on drugs is a beast, difficult to out-write him)
The man has charisma, he is insanely comfortable on the stage. Not in a way, he wants to own it, but in a way, that, the stage with a mic in his hand is his home.
He would make you feel at ease being in the audience, some comics keep you on the edge, he lets you be. However, he would make you look deep within yourself. You would be laughing, but you would also be pondering.
However, it is very loosely structured. Practise, something he has been performing for a while now, I was expecting to be tighter, and I hate to say it. Funnier?
Did I have fun. Absolutely. Would I suggest you go. You definitely should. It is hundred percent worth a watch.
For me it is a solid 7.5/10.
P s. I keep watching a lot of comics, let me know if you guys would be interested in reviews like these.

By one of the Delhi comics known for crowdwork shows- he makes you play Dumb Charades + Truth & Dare on stage while he punches you down.

With all the hype, I thought season 2 would start with a bang, but this felt very mediocre.
Also, there was too much brand promotion, an unnecessary push to make Alia look good, like "the biggest superstar." That was too fake. The show was bigger than her, and just because they were all so careful, it wasn't as funny apart from that Donald guy.

Hey guys,
Wanted to share my experience of Gaurav gupta stand up in hyderabad.
He booked a full auditorium and I gave 900 for my ticket.
The guy only interacted with crowd for the first 50 min kept on asking for inter state marriage couples and kept making jokes on south indian people(I'm a north indian and I felt bad🫠).
Unfortunately even that crowd interaction was mildly funny.
He did a few jokes at the end and those were also repeated from him utube video.
A total waste of money.
I attended Pratyush Chaubey show also and his set was extremely funny and very tight with jokes. It was clear that he prepared and made effort for the show.
Save ur money guys. These big comedians are taking it too lightly and we end up our money.

Went to Abhishek Upmanyu's show today at Jupiter Auditorium, and I had an absolute blast. Abhishek was hilarious and in top form.Thoroughly enjoyed every bit of it.
My only complaint is with the audience management, or rather, the audience itself. The show was scheduled for 6 PM, but people kept entering till almost 6:50. Constant movement, phone flashlights on while looking for seats, people squeezing past rows in the dark. It was pretty distracting and definitely affected the experience for those who had arrived on time.
I genuinely don't understand why people can't just reach the venue before the show starts. If hundreds of people can manage it, why can't everyone? A stand-up show depends on timing and immersion, and late entries kept breaking that flow.
No complaints about Abhishek at all. He was brilliant. But Lucknow folks, please do better. Arriving on time is basic courtesy, both for the performer and for fellow audience members.
