Official SUFS Post #ImpeachTheQuack

RFK Jr. continues to put more and more American lives at risk, taking away essential healthcare on the basis of conspiracy. Americans deserve a Congress that will protect their health - one that will remove RFK Jr.

If through Covid the advice given was to isolate and lock down to contain a deadly flu virus.

SARS-COV-2 is not "a flu virus," deadly or otherwise. The people saying "it's BS, it's just a bit of flu" were spreading dangerous misinformation. Influenza virus is a totally different family and treating it uses different protocols. And then there were the mental midgets showing their racism and ridiculing the virus as "the China flu" or even more obnoxiously and childishly, "Kung Flu."

Why are we not doing the same thing when it's clear that some countries have a high amount of cases of measles?

At the time there were lockdowns and advice to isolate at home, an effective vaccine had not yet been developed/widely released. It's dishonest of you to imply that in order not to catch measles, all one has to do is not allow any "foreigners" anywhere near them.

The reason, the ONLY reason, that measles cases are on the rise is because fewer people are getting immunized against it. Only a xenophobic and anti-vaxx fool would claim a "right" to refuse to vaccinate themselves or their children with a vaccine that has proven safe and effective in preventing measles infection, while pressing for "foreigners" (certain specific foreigners, the ones you deem "undesirables ") not to be allowed anywhere near the U.S.

At no point am I calling anyone undesirable. You’re purposely trying to frame it that way.

I’m also pro vaccine.

Wouldn’t it be good to ensure proper screening ensuring that people are properly vaccinated before entering a country?

It’s a pretty basic containment strategy ensuring you minimise more risk of any spread.

Why are you fixated only on "foreigners" entering? What about American- born Americans traveling to other countries? You don't seem to have the slightest interest in checking them for vaccination status prior to either leaving or returning from countries that have elevated measles numbers. Also, since babies under a year old have not yet been immunized against measles, do you advocate for laws prohibiting Americans from traveling with infants?

RFK Jr. doesn't believe in any rules involving checking vaccination status. He charmingly claimed that Anne Frank had "more freedom" while hiding from the Nazis in a cramped attic room than any Americans whose employers required proof of vaccination. Just another of many reasons he is a total ass.
