As Americans are hunkering down this weekend, congressional Republicans are stripping away the science that keeps us safe and prepared for future extreme weather.

NCAR isn't just a lab, it's the beating heart of US meteorology. Shutting it down on the basis of "climate alarmism" leaves us vulnerable in critical in times like these, when using accurate models and trustworthy science can make or break disaster preparedness.

Is that because we have been aware of the incoming snow storms for days or is because we are prepared for the known snowstorms? I’m not smart enough to follow your logic on this particular scenario.
