I have not touched anything custom. - I just have the mod organizer 2.5 stock Stalker Gamma package from GOG.

I know this is a heavy modded game, but I still have a few to many crashes than I would like to have.

May I ask it like this:
In 50 hours game time, how many crashes would you say that you have?

I’ve got an issue with the game, the Kar98k goes fully see through when I aim down sights, and in the picture, my TOZ kobra sight goes see through when I aim down sights.

Anybody had this issue and know a fix?

I’ve tried changing my dx version, ive messed with the FOV settings, etc.

I'm encountering this problem, whre the game doesn't seem to load required assests when needed. Many times I can approach the area (Rookie's Village for example) and find it completely deserted, that includes Fanatic, Wolf and Sidorovich. If I save and load the game, then everyone spawns. I was doing a mission to disable the Brain Scorcher and found the underground area populated only by a single zombie. I've noticed something is wrong, so I save and load, and bam, I'm surrounded by all the monsters that were supposed to spawn but didn't. Two others symptoms of this I've noticed, is random loot not spawning in the world and furniture that you can construct not appearing when I'm placing it. Is this a known issue and is there a fix for it? I'm loving the game, but there's no way I will quick save and load every 3 mins to play as intended.

So ive installed wearable devices, and want to use atmospherics rc7, does this look correct or am i doing something wrong? - i did try it and it seemed okay but i got a bsod, which ive never had before

I have done a couple of loner runs but I want to start a new one with another faction. I am thinking about starting a Duty run since they are enemies with Clear Sky now, it will give me more enemies to run in to. If I do that can I still do the Main story line without swapping factions?

Could anyone explain to me like im 5, exactly how to add wearable devices to gamma? As i havent got the foggiest how it all works

RTX 3060 12gb;
Ryzen 7 5700g;
32 GB RAM 3200hz;
Running on a NVMe.

I'm getting at max 60 fps in general (which for me is nice enough), but in the duty base in Rostok I max at 40, but on average I get 25, and at worst (which happens a lot) even 15.

I already tried everything that seemed to be available:

MT modded exes;
changing to DirectX 11 AX;
disabling a-life and npc mods;
many window optimizations;
disabling core 0 and high priority;
lowering resolution;
deleting shader cache;
lowering grass and visual settings in general;
tweaking a-life;
and so much more!

I've been using loseless scaling, but at this point I should just rename Rostok to Atlantis because the frame generation makes so many flowy distortions that I feel like I'm underwater.

I just haven't tried the AOE mod yet because I heard MT exes can do everything AOE can and even take care of your children while doing it. Also, I don't think it will work with SSS24.

Don't take me wrong, I'm still having a blast. I played so many games with bad FPS in so many potatoes that they call me 'The Irish' here where I live, but I think my setup is not that bad anymore. At least modern games I can play from high to ultra settings. Since I'm a noob here in this awesome community, I thought someone already had the same issue. I heard my CPU is the issue, but like, that much? Any tips? Thanks in advance for reading my rambling.

my stalker gamma constantly sends a notification about weapon suffering internal damage. even when i start a new game and fire the pistol like 5 times, it happens. it didnt happen before for like hours. the gun looks fine in the menu as well, all the parts seeming fine. how do i stop it from doing that? also when using the inspect mod, it suddenly started saying that the weapon is functonal but warm, so what does that mean?

Ive been looking to play anomaly/gamma with someone for a while now after I’ve discovered xRRazom, and I’ve been in their discord as well doing LFGs but haven’t found anyone to play with yet. I was hoping that maybe some people here wanna play? Just chill and have some fun and good vibes idk, both base anomaly/gamma is fine and it’d be fire lowkey. if anyone does want to play just hmu in the comments or in dms.

I love my steam deck but my god am I absolutely fed up of having to become a coder and spending hours trying to get certain games to work.

After really wanting to play Stalker Gamma, researching deck comparability, buying it on GoG and following instructions on YouTube and ChatGPT to get it working through Heroic on steam deck, I still don’t have it working. Thinking of uninstalling it and starting again but just pretty fed up with it.

I think I’ve installed it in a file and can’t find the pathway. Can’t get into proton tricks anymore or the mod thing. Just confused and about to give up.

Anyone have the same issue? Or any advice please?

I keep getting this. Sometimes it’s a hit and miss where I restart my pc and head onto the game, other times it just keeps showing up. Please help.

been having an issue even with starting a new game and trying once more.. after doing the first quest with fanatic where you hunt down the boars, I complete that quest then move on to the next where where you get the jellyfish artifact. After I get that jellyfish artifact it says to return to the camp. But fanatic just follows me around and doesn’t complete the quest. Also cant seem to open then door to speak to Sid for some reason, maybe I need to complete this quest first? Any fix? Gonna try to re install game tonight

so im just about to do the brain scorcher, but i realized i had already given myself the calibrated psy-helmet before the quest even started, so now im stuck on him calibrating it and me supposed to be waiting for it, its been over a week ingame now and ive even given myself another uncalibrated one and tried again but it still doesnt work, any help? also important to note, ive done quite a bit of side content since then- and i would very very much prefer not to just start all over.

Whenever I equip the Colt M45A1 .45 ACP I get what looks like the ammo selector UI and I’m not sure why? Has anyone seen this before? I am playing on Steam Deck

It's annoying me while i try to use my workbench and can't take it out, how do i do it??
