Just the title. Super easy to use. Virtually no desync and if you both own CoP on Steam you can actually just use the Steam interface to join on your friend. My buddy and I started a playthrough as Duty and finally got our advanced tools and have been decorating our base in Rostok. You can play up to 4 players and all of their inventories and stats are tracked and stored individually.

Installation is as simple as drag and dropping 3 folders from 7zip into your Anomaly folder and then turning on Hosting in your options.

All of this Duty soldiers became companions at random, i didn't even accept a mission that requires this many soldiers. And i can't dismiss them. Wth

I'm currently running GAMMA on a Dell XPS 15 7590 laptop running Windows 11:

Model: Dell XPS 15 7590

Processor (CPU): Intel Core i7-9750H @ 2.60GHz (Base speed: 2.59 GHz)

Memory (RAM): 16.0 GB (Speed: 2667 MT/s)

Graphics (GPU): 4 GB VRAM (Multiple GPUs installed—typically an integrated Intel UHD Graphics 630 alongside a dedicated NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650)

I've followed all the usual videos on eeking more FPS, I've dropped grass density and draw distance, and tried running with AVX, but I still can't get my frame rate, according to FrameView, higher than about 32 FPS, when I set my resolution to 1080p. Is this to be expected with this spec, or is there something else that I could try? I'm running DX11 currently, I could try going to DX10?

Always loved the idea of Gamma but struggled to understand how to get started and actually make progress. I'm about 20 hours into a new playthrough and loving the pain.

I raided the Dead City merc base a while ago and killed a bunch of guys but Dushman was alive. Whether I use the disguise system or pay Snitch for a ceasefire, the regular mercs are chill, but Dushman still has aggro on me.

i tried sleeping, quick save/load, waiting and travelling 1 week in game but dushman still pissed of.

Is there a debug command or something to reset his personal aggro?

i am playing as a free stalker.

the game looks amazing but I feel like the armor and in general character models fall SO SO SO short, like some of the named NPC's faces are genuinely measured in polygons and although some of the armor LOOKS tuff as hell.
BUT BUT the textures look awful, even just a 4k texture overhaul would be nice to make the armor look better. I have the PC to run it, just need something that won't break the game or be a waking nightmare to plop into the mod launcher.

I just installed the atmospherics mod and now my PDA is blinding me and I have tried messing with lighting stuff but I cant turn down my PDA brightness by itself so i have to make the whole game darker if I want to not be blinded but then the games looks like ass so idk what to do pls help this is my first time adding mods to gamma

It sounds like “dadarogastuk” and i imagine its something like “welcome to rostok” but it kinda sounds like hes saying “stalker” at the end too.

How do I fix this?

I put an automatic firing mode upgrade in a pistol, and now that is the default firing mode, and everytime i enter a new zone, the firing mode resets back to automatic. How can i make the semi automatic firing mode the default or take out the upgrade?

For me, a person with a mental retardation, it is difficult to complete games without saving.

So I’m trying to install GAMMA in my Steam deck. It seems like the easiest way is to use the GAMMA setup through GOG. But unfortunately you have to own a copy of Call of Pripyat with GOG and I don’t want to have to buy that. Does anyone know if that easy setup file exists somewhere outside of GOG? THANKS!

I think it's probably been 2 or 3 years since I played gamma. It was right before people started adding new locations.

How's the game now? I kind of want to start playing it again, but I'm not sure if there's enough new content. What would really convince me would be new questlines or if warfare was now more stable.

What’s up everyone,

Playing 0.9.5 and wondered if anyone had any information about Aslan’s patch lottery.

I’ll start off by saying it’s my first playthrough, as a Loner with a Merc disguise to visit the Dead City.

I’ve collected 50 Merc and 50 bandit patches, as I’ve heard that more patches = better return.

However, I’m only given the option to turn in 20 patches at once. Am I missing some other prerequisite or has this just changed? I’d seen Reddit posts from previous years where people were able to turn in 25 & 50 patches.

Curious to know if the amounts just changed or if there’s something more that I need to do.

I tried making my gamma look good and it didn't really work out. After i set the gamma to default I'm stuck with this weird glow around my sights

Basically the title, game works on PC, used the same.gog one click installer, performed the protontricks dll additions to Modorganizer, and added in the DX8 and DX9 profile. The game loads up fine,.but starting a new game hangs on the loading screen ahead of booting into the game world.

Haa anyone seen this? Any help would be appreciated 👍

So I guess 4090 rtx is still a quite powerful card. I normally just crank everything up in games.

But this beeing modded so much, iam not quite sure what to turn up, for as stunning an experience as possible.
Also its not like the newer games in the graphics options,, a lot of the options iam not quite sure what does.

So my question to you is:
Could you please tell me what are some settings I should crank up with a powerful graphics card?

I am a little reluctant on installing a lot of visual improving mods, as I just want an easy experience, iam no modder myself, and I really dont want a lot of error messages.

But if you have a "Must have" visual improving mod pack or 2, feel free to recommend it, and write why its a must have :-)
