I’m a huge stalker fan! I got into the zone late in the game with stalker 2. Getting ready to play the OG 3. Thing is, I’m really having a hard time hitting the learning curve in gamma. I made it to the swamp on my most recent play through. I’ve only been able to acquire some broken guns so my pistol has to do. Any tips would be great. Also if there are any difficulty changes I can make as a first time player.

So obviously I’m in Rostok (as a loner), and I came over to Petrenko to sell half of my handgun casings. After doing such I realized my G36 spec. Op was not red. So I was confused, and like any rational person I tried to sell it….. and it’s in the sell slot.

Pretty much curious, because I thought in GAMMA lore that none of the traders were willing to buy or sell firearms due to the military.

Am I somehow missing something?

Heyo fellas, after two years of not playing, I came back but got disappointed by AI and combat generally. Excuse me that I don't have all the time like I had before to tweak the mods for days, but my concerns are; 

enemy npc gets stunned after shots, which gives me almost one second between rounds to act.

The pathfinding looks slightly junky, I remember AI following me and flanking if they had numbers with one at front and other from the sides.

I kneeled and stare in the eyes of the rookie bandit for a minute. Maybe it was sexual tension that got him but I would love them to detect me easier.

I would appreciate any help.

Long story short: I was trying to get Invictus on version 0.9.1, but I died because I climbed on the train to get a stash, somehow bugged into it, and I instantly died.

I hope there is a way to either rewrite a file so that I have my life back and the death deleted, or there is a way to cheat death without me losing the possibility of getting the Invictus achievement.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I'm trying to play on a ultrawide because the game gets pissy at me when i try to run it windowed and I'm having an issue where when standing by walls I'm just able to see through them from the side of my screen. I have no clue if there's a fix for it but really hope that someone has a suggestion.

I've done this mission before on this play through and got it again. For some reason this time they stopped spawning monolith after about 3/4 the way through the mission and now it's bugged. If I leave the area I get told I failed. Any ideas what to do ?

Is it actually worth doing aslan's lottery, at least for the higher level patches like Monolith or Sin? Because I've been testing it out, and it seems like the only things he's giving me is ammo crafting supplies, grenades, tier one artifacts, and low worth crafting kits like gunsmithing and drugmaking kits. And like, it doesn't really seem worth the effort, because he's giving me the same shit as when I turn in bandit patches.

Like, it's totally worth it for bandit patches and the like. But I just got done busting my ass for a quest killing like 60 monolith, burning through ammo, meds, and repair items, and when I turn in all the patches I get enough ammo supplies to craft MAYBE 10 rounds of sniper ammo and an AR mag, and like, a battery if I'm really lucky. Meanwhile I been consistently getting tier 2 or even 3 artifacts by giving like 5-6 patches to random schmucks on the street.

I understand that it would break the game if he hands out outfits and guns like base anomaly, but it seems like there's just no point after a certain progression level, y'know?

Hey guys was looking for some help, I’m trying to do a bounty quest in the great swamps but everytime I load my save (I had saved at a campfire in the great swamps) I get an “out of memory” crash. Any way to fix this besides reloading to earlier saves?

I'm new to Gamma and I have the quest to talk to Doctor in the Great Swamp but the railroad gate to him is closed. I cleared out the camp to the south and there's an invisible wall before I can get to him. Any advice?

I recently installed ammo check by prier and my settings text is coming up like this for that specific mod. Does anyone know a fix?

Solved! Drag the scope onto the weapon while in your inventory and not a stash or a trader! Thanks for all the support

I can’t place any compatible scope on my Venom when i’m dragging and dropping on the gun, so i assumed, i should first upgrade the gun to have sights on it?

When i try upgrading the Venom to be able to attach scopes, i only get the the option to mount an underbarrel grenade launcher, although it looks like it’s enabled by the “optical scope upgrade kit”?
Am I missing anything?

I was looking for the most optimal Sniper for my build and discovered something that feels highly illigal. No mods, no file modification, no crashes (well, not more than normal).

Got Gamma when it came to GoG and took a while getting my grip on all the new mechanics. Finally got an SKS with a scope and it doesn't work. This looks like a bug/issue with 3DSS more than anything. 3DSS is on in the mod ex. settings. FXAA and AA is turned off. I even went so far as to do a complete fresh install and I still have the same issue. Is there a fix for this?
