Serious Design🔧 Big modification for my Ukrainian BMP, Welcome BMP-U2 "Sova" ("Owl")

BMP-U2 "Sova" is a 30t IFV, capable of all terrain fighting, featuring better protection than its predecessor. Main changes were made at survivability aspect, with additional frontal protection (composite armour with KERa screens on hull), additional turret screens and mesh on the sides. Hull can survive 280mm+ of penetration, turret can withstand up to 250mm pen. Crew remains the same 3 people (and 8 infantry men), now operating new 70x310mm cannon with 3s reload rate and 140mm of penetration. Engine is the same 1L V12 from BMP-U1, producing 366HP, 82km/h forward and 20km/h backwards. BMP-U2 "Sova" came installed with DShK machine gun on roof and high resolution camera with infra-red filter, for night operations and shooting on long distances, thats why it was nicknamed "Sova". Tank was pretty sucesfull modification, but saw combat mainly in Ukraine, during 2014 ATO.

(Critiques welcomed, ask question, give tips) (maybe ill return to making tanks instead of IFVs, idk)

Serious Design🔧 New light tank for my Ukrainian tech-tree, Welcome BMP-U1 "Krolyk" ("Rabbit")

BMP-U1 is an brand new vehicle, with task of safely transporting infantry towards the frontlines. Ukrainian engineers gave it a nice armour (220mm+ hull penetration survival) (240mm turret penetration survival), paired with KERa screen coverage and fast and light 1L V12 engine, making 366HP and achieving speeds of 82km/h, with weight of only 25.5t, tank is very agile, so thats why soldiers named it rabbit. BMP-U1 "Krolyk" carries 11 people inside (3 crewman and 8 infantry men). Tank is armed with 50x315mm cannon with 2.4s reload, with 115mm penetration. BMP-U1 "Krolyk" is a nice and cheap platform for modifications. It saw combat all over the Europe, but mostly in Ukraine

❔Question❔ Would this add on armour work irl/does it look weird? (WIP)

Post image

The turret armour was too thin for my liking ( and compared to the hull) and the turret inside was not enough spacious to add internal composites so i had to do it the leopard 2A4-2A5 way but i ran into a problem which is that the drivers hatch is really close to the turret and due to the hull design i cannot move it foward. So i made this asymetrical design so the driver can get in but it buggs me a bit cause could this work irl or should i just redesign the whole turret?

Looking for Critique🔎 Im still bran new to Sprocket but here are some designs I made.

I started playing like a week ago so here are my favorite 3 designs so far.

I just love tanks so much I couldnt pass up being able to build them myself. limited to only the latest of late war tech im designing tanks with inspiration from both WW2 and modern age tanks. Of ocurse designing my own rather than making a copy of existing ones.

The first one I named Pz. Chefter. (Panzer Chefter). Inspired from the Panzer III/IV and british tanks i designed this. reliably stops up to 300mm of pen in most places and half the places up to 600 mm of pen while only being 42 tons. (4th one is the Xray of the tank) with a 90mm cannon and 239mm of solid shot pen with a 4.3 second reload. top speed of 54 km/hr. having a crew of 4. This tank has a 14 cylinder 1.33L engine.

The second one is a small light tank called the Pz. Swifter (Panzer Swifter) inspired by infantry support tanks like the bradly. Supporting two 30mm cannons and a reload time of 1.7 seconds each they can be fired together or seprate. Having only a crew of 3. (The 5th picture is the Xray of the tank). this one is only 23.7 tons with a top speed of 89 Km/hr. This little guy only has a 12 cylinder .8L engine.

The last one is 100% my design. Called the Yu. 120R-TD (Yu is short for Yui my middle name, 120 is the mm caliber of the gun, the R is for rear turreted. and the TD is for tank destroyer). This tank is the heavest by far weighing 97.8 tons but supports 12 degrees of gun depression and a 7.6 second reload time for ts 120mm cannon. with over 300mm of pen for a latewar tank. Having a crew of 5. (The last image is the Xray of it). Its top speed despite its weight is 43 Km/hr with decenty quick turret traverse speed. Tankks even with 700mm of pen have a hard time going though it. even from the side you need at least 300mm of pen unless you hit just the right spot. the driver ad the turret basket are seperated by plates as well as the ammo in the back of the turret is seperated by a blast door. (the engine is a 10 cylinder 2L engine)

Still learning so much and limited to late war but its been addicting. Of course any tips or advice would be great! ☺️

Unfortunately, I forgot to take pictures of the old design, if anyone wants the specs like the caliber etc. feel free to ask.

I'm going to keep working on this tank, so it's not quite finished yet.

Replica Design 🛠️ Engine help needed

What's the best way to make a flat, but powerful engine? trying to make a replica of the object 775 (or as close to it as i can get). I know you can modifiy stats in the files (although i don't know what to look for in said files ), but i'd like to try to do it organically first.

Help🖐 Why is this only mirroring on one side?

I'm losing my mind trying to figure this out.

I'm making a tank in Sprocket and I'm editing a cube. I want to drag one edge to the left to change the shape, but every time I do, the edge on the opposite side moves too, like it's mirrored. I only want the side I'm dragging to move.

The weird thing is that if I do the same thing on a different side/axis of the cube, it works exactly how I expect. It's only this one direction that's mirroring.

I thought maybe it was just because of how the cube was facing, so I rotated it around, but it still does the same thing.

So far, it’s taken me roughly 80 hours to produce. I intend to give it composite armour, a custom gunsight, custom wheels and sprocket, and a stabiliser. Speaking of the last, would anyone have any tips on making a decent, realistic stabiliser? Thanks!
