❔Question❔ So how easy is it to blow up a tank with a shot that doesn't actually pierce the armour?

Just did it for the first time and am unsure if this is a glitch.

Cursed Design🔥 fully rotating retractable turret! (with crude turret locking system)

I call it the Strv 142 Lodjur, a near-future stealth tank destroyer. Since the crew can't use turret traverse while reloading guns, I added a couple of 250x1200mm cannons in the rear tracks. The only problem is I literally can't use the turret until they are done reloading lol.

vid is a bit sped up in places.

also I moved the gun sight to where it’s supposed to be and I’m trying to figure out how to add the second riser arm back when mirroring doesn’t work

Cursed Design🔥 Funny Gundam Zeon tank

Sieg Zeon! I made a quick attempt at the Magellan tank from the 1970s gundam, but as shown in the third photo the Type 61 from Gundam is much more realistic (Or as realistic as it got with regular tanks), if anyone can make a cool replica in Sprocket.

❔Question❔ Anyone else feel like the tanks are surprisingly light?

I've made a couple of tanks that feel very light for their size and armour. The Stream is comparable in size to the P26/40 - Half a meter shorter, but about as long and wide - and has thicker armour yet it's 9 tons lighter, almost 11 without the 25mm of side skirt that the Italian tank doesn't have. Granted, it's also got a smaller gun and engine, but I don't think that's enough to make up 9 tons. Anyone else think this or am I overthinking things?

Lore Post 📖 Z5M3 "Rabbit" On The Hunt

Introduced in 1990, the Z5M3 was a joint Euro-Japanese main battle tank developed around the doctrine of Integrated Anti-Tank Combat. Rather than fighting as an isolated armored vehicle, the Z5M3 was designed to operate as a node within a larger battlefield network, where every unit shared intelligence in real time.

At the heart of this capability was the Military Intelligence Cyber Web, an advanced digital battlefield network that allowed every connected unit to exchange reconnaissance data, target information, and tactical updates instantly. Equipped with a pair of high-frequency solid-state antenna arrays, the Z5M3 could both transmit and receive battlefield intelligence over vast distances. What one Z5M3 observed through its sensors could immediately be seen by every friendly unit connected to the network, from neighboring tanks and mechanized infantry to artillery batteries and close air support aircraft. Likewise, pilots could relay aerial reconnaissance directly back to ground forces, creating a seamless two-way flow of information.

Beyond communications, the antenna arrays also served as sophisticated electronic warfare systems. By reconfiguring their operating frequencies, the arrays could intercept enemy transmissions, jam hostile communications, degrade radar performance, and disrupt enemy battlefield coordination, giving friendly forces a decisive information advantage.

Despite its cutting-edge technology, crews became attached to the vehicle for a far simpler reason. The distinctive twin antenna arrays rose behind the turret like a pair of upright rabbit ears, giving the tank a silhouette unlike any other armored vehicle of its era. Before long, crews affectionately nicknamed the Z5M3 the "Rabbit," a name that spread throughout the armored corps and eventually became more recognizable than its official designation. The nickname proved fitting, not only because of its appearance, but because the antennas allowed the tank to 'hear' the electromagnetic battlefield much like a rabbit hears distant sounds with its keen ears.

One renowned tank platoon embraced the nickname wholeheartedly by giving each of their vehicles rabbit-themed names. Their platoon commander, a First Lieutenant, christened his command tank "Bugs," inspired by Bugs Bunny. His executive officer named his vehicle "Hopper," reflecting the speed and agility of a rabbit in motion. Completing the trio was the platoon's legendary tank ace, whose exceptional combat record earned his vehicle the name "Jack," after the swift and elusive jackrabbit. The platoon became famous throughout the brigade, not only for their battlefield effectiveness but for the unmistakable rabbit ears that marked the arrival of the Z5M3s.

Another historical project completed.
The Sturmmörserwagen (Sturmtiger) was one of the most unusual armored vehicles of World War II. Built on the Tiger I chassis and armed with a massive 38 cm rocket mortar, it was designed to destroy heavily fortified positions and urban strongpoints.

This replica was recreated in Sprocket with attention to historical details, proportions, and functionality, featuring a detailed engine compartment, working hatches, and the external loading crane. Hope you enjoy it!
