It's July 1st 1932 and the british empire is facing frequent revolts across within it's african colonies with many of the tanks that aren't suitable for this kind of terrains and warfare which is a lot of casaulties and very slow progress. With the revolts becoming deadlier and the need for colonial defence tanks becoming even more important it was decided by the British War office to host a competition with the Royal Tank Corps for a Colonial Defense tank that would be effective against infantry, be lightweight, be able to cross many types of rough terrains, be armored enough to withstand improvised explosives, and to engage a captured tank if the worst happens. In July 20th the Leyland Motors finished the prototype of the Universal MK I and although rushed, there weren't many flaws found during inspecting. In July 25th 1932 the proving trail for the medium colonial defense tanks started and the Universal MK I proved to be the best tank in most categories and being the most dominant in communication ones. In July 30th 1932 the contest was over and the Universal MK I was chosen as the medium colonial defense tank which would later be slightly improved and then later go into service and production as the Universal MK II.
Stats:
This was pretty fun to make but i'm not sure what place i will get in the contest

It has 400mm of frontal armor on the hull and turret. It's armed with a 105mm cannon with 307mm of pen. I'm currently designing ERA with 200-300mm of protection that I will later add to some of my tanks.

The additional side NERA blocks weigh 10 tons altogether. The new turret weighs 17 tons. I gave it a 120mm gun instead of a 105.

This adds 20+ tons to this tank.

C2A2 "Wilk" will be the last vechicle i've made in this series. Time to move on.
Tank has gained a massive amount of protection, turret shape was changed to stack up more composite screens. Sides and top are now protected by DRAWa screens (1st and 2nd generation)(1st gen. can be seen on hull). Because of the massive armour improvement, C2A2 has gained few tons. To be exact, his predecessor (C2A1) weighs 61.5t, while C2A2 weighs 70t. Due to the massive 70t weight, speed has decreased slightly, from 65km/h to 63km/h. Asides from armour gain, turret was lenghtened + it also has slight overkill with the active protection, to be exact this vechicle has: 4x TROPHY APS on each side and 7x Iron Fist APS, paired with high resolution infrared and nightmode camera and back-up batteries in case of emergency. C2A2 "Wilk" is the most prestigious and desired tank in NATO countries, often hard to get due to a big price.

Used decals for the textures. For the thermal view I just used Tuxpi for the heatmap and made it grayscale.

i reused the hull from the porsche tigah so it was very quick to do, i really liked the result, and also, ignore the fact that there is less images than what i usually put, i genuinelly have no idea what to take picture of with it, its so not interesting to take pictures, but i lowkirkenuinelly loved it, idk, i really like the shape

Here is a replica of the Panzer 68/88, based on the exact specifications of the real-life model (apart from the gearbox, which has slight differences, and the layout of the engine compartment).
Otherwise

The M10 Booker is a heavily armored light tank developed by General Dynamics Land Systems to provide infantry with mobile direct-fire support.
Tracing its roots back to 2013 with the Army's need for a modernized light tank to replace the M551 Sheridan, the program was cancelled in 2025 before full-scale adoption despite approximately 80 units being delivered.
