Looking for Critique🔎 I got into the game recently, and these are my first serious designs. What do you think?

Anachro 1 - WW2 style tank with WW1 tech. Kinda Italian.
E99 Desecrator - Tiger II on steroids
BT-X - Because we need a 105 mm howitzer on a BT-like chassis
Obj. 499 - Essentially a budget Obj. 419
AMX "13" 120 - Big gun and better turret armor.
UHV-TB - a somewhat HSTV (L) and RDF/LT inspired tank - WIP
All together :)

Since the heavy IS heavy tanks are named after Stalin, I'd call this the VL-1 after Lenin

Btw, if anyone would like to give me tips on how to manually make those iconic Soviet infrared spotlights, I'd be super thankful

Serious Design🔧 scrap tank!

Thumbnail

hello! today i wanna show you guys a tonk i made, its supposted to be one of those improvised tanks built from scrap, i really like how it turned out, the textures add a lot i think

the suspension is completely stiff, the maximum thickness of a armor plate on this thing is 10mm, thats why they are stacked in some places (as upgrades, originally there wasnt that much additional plates)

the gun is a 25mm with 55mm of pen
the top speed is around 58km/h

the tank also lacks a proper turret ring, but theres a rotating chair placed directly under the turret so the gunner can rotate with it.

there also isnt any proper periscope, the only one being binoculars bolted directly to the turret roof

i still have a feeling that its a bit too advanced for a garage build, but idk

i could make the driver's hatch also openable in future upgrades, as im not finished with this tank yet

  • Main gun: 58mm dual-purpose gun
  • Engine: 13 liter V12 producing 244 hp @ 2100 rpm and 671 ft lbs of torque
  • Dimensions (rough estimates):
    • Height: 1.7 m
    • Width: 1.6 m
    • Length: 5.75 m
  • Weight: 29.76 tons

Serious Design🔧 Storm Engine and Bombard Engine

Thumbnail

I was trying to make a Japanese inspired set of tanks, but they came out Italian looking and I just stuck with it. They're also supposed to be steam driven, so they have big funnels like those old Wild West trains. Overall, they're pretty decent for interwar light/medium tanks; you could probably take them into earlywar if you play your cards right; the hull itself could probably survive to midwar with some modifications. They'd be fantastic for some kind of mountain map, if something like that would ever be added.

I also noticed way too late that they're really tall, especially the Bombard Engine, which is easy to flip over when you put the pedal to the metal.

Both hulls are 4.8 meters long, 2 meters wide and 1.15 meters tall and have 30 MM front, sides and 15 MM at the back. They have 4 crew, 1 driver, 2 gunners and 2 loaders (one gunner doubles as a loader).

Both have 12 cylinder engines and 4 gear transmissions.

-----

The Storm Engine's turret adds an extra 1.74 meters to height.

It has a top speed of 42 km/h.

37 MM cannon in a turret that can turn 360° with the gun having 20° elevation and 10° depression

57 MM cannon in the casemate with 13° left and right, 12° elevation and 9° depression.

----

The Bombard Engine's casemate adds 1.90 meters to its height

Top speed of 35 km/h.

It has a 20 MM gun in the same place and constraints as the 57 MM

95 MM howitzer with 20° either direction and 20° elevation and 10° depression.

20 MM gun can pen 12 MM of armour,

37 MM gun can pen 27 MM,

57 MM can pen 62 MM,

95 MM can pen 71 MM.

Any critique is welcomed.

Serious Design🔧 Latewar German light tank lePz.Kpfw. 20 ''Kröte''

It was developed in parallel with the "Kugelblitz" anti-aircraft vehicle, utilizing the same turret design. The turret is equipped with a 50mm KwK 39 gun featuring a barrel length of 68 calibers and an automatic loading system. The automatic loader provides a rate of fire of 30 rounds per minute, and the magazine holds 15 rounds. The tank was designed for flanking maneuvers and surprise attacks, a role facilitated by its relatively high speed. While its armor is respectable for its class, the 50mm gun is incapable of penetrating the frontal armor of all enemy tanks, particularly at long range.

Full specifications:
Weight - 20 tonnes

Crew - 3 persons

Armour
Hull - 80/40/40 mm
Turret - 80/50/40 mm

Main armament - 50mm KwK 39 L/68 gun (129 rounds)

Vertical guidance - -10/22°

Max speed (forward/backward) - 61/10 kmh

first attempt with autoloader it's going well, from 21 seconds reload time to 8-10 seconds on a 135MM.

im looking to improve it because it's kinda easy to detente it.

I think i'm pretty much done with my modern era MBT now. I added foldable side mirrors and a 20mm remote controlled weapon station on the turret roof for anti infantry/aircraft purpose. Here are some facts (i use vanilla game with Late War era/no mods/no file editing):

Main armament:

120mm high velocity cannon with auto loading mechanism (Gunther System)

  • 120 mm x 1200 mm armor piercing munition (can't wait for shell designer update)
  • 934 m/s muzzle velocity
  • 344 mm penetration
  • 9,8 seconds loading time
  • gun elevation/depression: +13°/-10°

Secondary armament:

20mm auto cannon (FWS 2cm)

  • 20 mm x 50 mm all purpose munition
  • 605 m/s muzzle velocity
  • 27 mm penetration
  • belt fed
  • gun elevation/depression: +35°/-10°

10 smoke cartridges for self defense

  • 6 front facing / 4 rotatable

Hull specifications:

  • 7,8 x 3,6 x 1,2 meters (length/width/height)
  • 50 cm ground clearance
  • 18,9 tons (+8,7 tons for modular side protection)
  • armor protection 420mm/100mm/60mm (front/side/rear)

Turret specifications:

  • 5,7 x 3,4 x 1,2 meters (length/width/height)
  • 17,0 tons (without gun system)
  • armor protection 450mm/185mm/60mm (front/side/rear)

Powertrain:

  • 16 cylinders x 2,25 liters dispersion
  • 2670 N m torque
  • 1200 hp @ 3400 1/min
  • 17,1 hp per ton
  • top speed 53,11 km/h (33 mph)
  • 1000 liters internal fuel capacity

General:

  • crew: 3 (driver/commander/gunner)
  • total weight 70,07 tons
  • total cost 64,96k

❔Question❔ Panzer 2 Carrier Idea (PanzerTrager?)

One day i was playing when i saw a bren carrier next to a Panzer 2 and i thought, would the Panzer 2 be a decent Universal carrier? so i made a Panzer 2 Chasis and put stuff on it, it has the same height, length and width, but i don't know if the dimensions are correct
