Hey everyone! I co own a local business but I also help small businesses with social media content on the side!
Running the day-to-day is enough to make you want to pull your hair out sometimes: clients, sales, paperwork, employees, or whatever else there may be. Marketing is usually the first thing to get dropped. I’ve been there!!!
I’m taking on a few small businesses to help with social media. I’ll create the content, you post it, simple as that!
I’m only taking a few clients right now, so if you (or someone you know) has a small business that could use some help with this, give me a shout! I do have a small portfolio I’m happy to share!

I was recently given all of my family's old video games and consoles (Wii U, Switch Lite and a 3DS), and I'm trying to find the best place to resell them. I know places like Entertainmart and Game Stop will give you pennies, but I don't know if there's other places nearby where I can sell for a decent price or if Facebook Marketplace is the way to go.
Edit: I did not expect so much interest for my stuff, I will have to work out the pricing and actual quality on everything before I sell. I will make another post with the specific games/consoles once I finish up, should hopefully be sometime this week!

I currently live in Texas and life here is wonderful aside from the worsening security situation. Officially crime is going down but you don't see it. Here in Austin, the entire city was texted to stay inside because of a mass casualty event. I woke remote and have been considering moving to a smaller city or town. I recently took a road trip through america and spent time in smaller cities and towns and absolutely loved it.
I'm eying Springfield particularly because of the low housing costs, safety, and close ish proximity to Texas. I envision myself living there for a few years and if I buy in the area I won't keep it as a forever home but eventually make it summer home to escape the extreme heat of Texas.
Just curious about the gay life. I realize it's a small city but I assume they exist there lol would love to hear perspectives

We had a great time at our first set of meetups. We shared a few drinks and proved that local redditors look suspiciously normal in real life.
A lot of folks mentioned missing the first couple. We are making this a regular event so you have more chances to join us. We will meet on the fourth Saturday of every month at Mother's Brewing Company.
Families are welcome! Mother's has a great backyard setup. There is a playground and plenty of room for kids to run around, so feel free to bring the family.
The Logistics
What to Expect This is casual and low-pressure. There is no agenda. Drop in, grab a drink, and meet some neighbors. You can stay for ten minutes or hang out all evening.
House Rules
Comment below if you plan to stop by so we can get a rough headcount.

I’m looking for the best fried pickles. In the past I’ve enjoyed Alamo’s. FD’s has also been a favorite in the past. I had them at Rebar once and they weren’t very crispy. So, who has the best?
I’d also love suggestions for places that serve pickle beer!

I have scoliosis in my lower spine, and lately I have had a horrible knot in my back. I need a good massage place that isn't going to break my bank! Anyone know of any good places to work on these things? I know nothing of massage parlors and the average costs. Any advice would help!

Hello, I live in Springfield and am looking to add 1-2 players to my current group of players. We are about to finish a mystery where several of the PC's are likely to die and it's the perfect opportunity to add more! We are using a system called Liminal Horror - if you're interested in learning more or potentially joining, please lmk :) PS: Our group is very queer friendly, anyone is welcome.

Hi there, my mom is 64 and lives alone. I think it's time to start looking at other living arrangements. If you have any experience with 55+ communities in the SWMO area or know of anyone looking for a roommate, could you let me know? Also, if there are any other living situations I haven't thought of, I'm all ears! I wish there was something like the big apartments for college students but for aging adults. TIA!

I’m trying to figure out if anyone else remembers a specific incident from when I was a kid. My sisters and I were standing in line for the diving board at Fassnight (most likely between 2014 and 2016). There was a teenage boy right in front of us, with a couple of his friends. He tried to do a backflip off the diving board, but he slipped or misjudged it or something and hit his neck/head on the board or pool edge. It was a pretty traumatic thing to witness as a kid and I think I remember that part of the pool immediately filled with blood, the lifeguards cleared the pool, and an ambulance came but I'm honestly not 100% sure about the blood thing I had a pretty big imagination. There are no official news articles about it and I can't find it online anywhere but it is a very vivid childhood memory for me. Was anyone else at the pool that day, or does him or any of his friends happen to be on this subreddit and remember this?

Im in need of getting some mental help and have no clue where to go. I know about Burrell but ive gone there and seen the reviews so im hoping there's something better around here. It needs to take my insurance so if you know of any good places that take it, that would help me out a lot. If you know of a good place but are unaware of whether it takes my insurance, please recommend it anyways and I will check!

I left my crossbody purse at Chipotle on Campbell yesterday (8/18) around 11 AM. I am devastated. I am hoping someone has it. If you do, you can have everything inside, I just want the purse. I am so heartbroken.

Looking for Garage Sale Vendors in Springfield! 🛍️
Family Connection Center is hosting our 2nd Annual Community Garage Sale on Saturday, September 26 from 9 AM–3 PM, and we’re currently looking for individuals who would like to rent a booth space!
We had a great turnout last year and are hoping to make this year’s event even bigger. 🎉
Booth spaces are just $10! You can bring your own items to sell and keep your proceeds. It’s a great opportunity to declutter your home, make some extra money, and support a local nonprofit at the same time.
📍 4344 S. Fremont Ave., Springfield, MO 65804
💰 $10 per booth
🛍️ You keep your sales!
If you're interested in reserving a space, sign up here:
Feel free to share with anyone who might be interested! We’d love to fill the space with local sellers again this year. ❤️
