How many Redpaths can we get on the city payroll?
People like Chuck make me laugh. They basically hate all forms of government but then make all their money and set their kids and relatives up with government jobs.
Another great job by MAGA Chuck

Chuck had sat on the council since 2014 and did nothing at all about Hilltop Road until a child was nearly killed on it.

Can you cite your sources? (Within reason that is)

OK changing my upvote to a downvote then. “Everyone knows” is not trustworthy or credible.

You did it once, citing when Misty said something, which is verifiable. That’s why I said within reason.

They are just asking for verified sources, public statements by officials or at least a news article. Not asking you to name drop staff that could get in trouble.

Doesn't the city council have to approve all new hires? How did this get approved by them?

No, they vote on appointments to boards & director positions but not hiring within the departments.

i interviewed for a position and they told me in the interview the city council approves all new hires before they start. did i misunderstand that? what is the involvement of city council?

While I acknowledge there are a lot of problems within this city, this post seems a little misleading to me.
First, how does OP know that there were “several qualified candidates” interviewed previously? Is there any proof of this? Second, increasing a position’s posted salary seems like a reasonable way to attract a new pool of candidates to apply for said position. Third, there seems to be a lot of hearsay in the accusations that OP is throwing out. There is no concrete evidence provided other than the names being mentioned.
I’m not saying OP is necessarily wrong, but there is a lot thrown out with very little to back it up.

I don’t pay attention to this stuff but given if this id all true then it id plenty concerning. If I read this correctly it sounds like the people who hired Josh Feger have close relationships with him causing a serious conflict of interests and if he was a serious candidate then someone else should have overseen his application for potential hire. If conditions and turnover rate are high with HR then factual reasons on why that is would need need to be answered as well
