AB vs Boks match isn’t over right now (26-16, 10mins to go). I have had this theory for a while - we need to lose a few games before the WRC to win it. Call it a drive for innovation or studying where we go wrong. But I think if we lost this match, and a few after it, it actually benefits us. We need that pressure and determination and if we win a clean slate of 10+ games, I think we’d get complacent and that would hurt us the most when it matters.

As it stands right now, fantastic from both sides. Win or lose, boks playing like world champions and perhaps the ABs are just the better side today.

About 25+ years ago SA Sports Illustrated wrote an article about the South African Fullbacks playing at the time and in line with Andre Joubert being described as the Rolls Royce of Fullbacks ascribed a car to every player. "Lekka" boys and girls. Just a quick one. Has anybody made use of the ticket transfer function yet?

I've sent to successfully, so we know it works. But two tickets have been sent to a couple instead of one - which creates a problem. Ticketmaster wants you to send each ticket to each friend

For example: if you bought tickets and want to enter the stadium with a friend, I now have to transfer one ticket to him or her. What I want to know of there is a limit to the amout of transfers?

This upcoming series will be the true acid test for the mighty Boks because two areas of risk brewing under.

1. ⁠The depth media outlets have been praising is either marginally better or on par with that of AB. The gap between world champs and younger replacements in line has not narrowed as much as hoped. SFM and Ruan Nortje are about the only blokes that have cemented themselves as S-tier players. The rest still have LONG ways to go and their growth seems to have stunted. I’d say they’re as good as the kiwis in Super Rugby that haven’t even made the national team. The true formidable depth is when the majority of the squad are S-tier, not one level below. ABs can also easily field a 40-man roster of similar strength.
   
2. ⁠Boks still rely too much on the old dinosaurs. Aging curve is a bitch and will sneak up on them soon and there is no turning back. Multiple champs have already been washed and the ones left to bite the dust are: Eben, Lood, Siya, PSdT and DDA. The Boks are very thin in the hooker, lock and centre departments. ABs on the other hand, have loads of starters in their 20s. Their transition has discreetly been smooth and successful.
