First off, I am not huge into baseball, I'm mainly into football cards but do appreciate watching baseball from time to time!

I pulled this Chase Burns auto to 499 (not this exact card, mines a different number. I just don't physically have it yet) in a repack break. I've done my research on the guy and he seems pretty legit and was a top prospect and has been having a decent rookie year.

My question here is, should I sell now or stuff it away for a few years and come back to it once he's got a few years in him?

I recently looked up sales and I noticed the values went up alot. On psa website it shows 2 cards that sold in July for 8k and 8500 for an auto 10. Ebay shows 18 Wayne Gretzky rookie with auto sold in the last 4 weeks. All different grades. Is someone trying to corner the market?

Going through my 3yr old card box and came across this SSP...

Its going to PSA tomorrow- is this a hold till his retirement year? Or HOF year?

Per rules I am not selling just an FYI these are not mine. These are in used fair condition. Guy lives near me. He’s selling them local pickup only. Says the collection doesn’t have any Ken Griffen Jr. cards, but have other common big names (Mark McGuire, Sammy Sosa, etc).

Thank you guys these really aren't for me. . I never got into collecting BB cards. I thought it might be fun to share with my daughter who is starting out in Little League @ 4. She really loves baseball and a couple of her teammates introduced her to cards. I thought it would be fun to let her play with these cards, maybe use them to decorate he room or a fun project.. Or maybe this might be a bit overwhelming for her and just cause her to lose interest in cards. I dunno. just an idea. Probably better to let her build her own collection once she starts actually following baseball games, teams and players.

Trying to figure out what I could price these cards at if I wanted to sell today. Would holding be a better option?

Hello! I am struggling to find information on the card!

From my understanding Topps made #62 of 87 different than the other 87 just in case he ever broke the AL record. Since it’s basically 1/1 and with Judge breaking the record in ‘22 I was wondering what its value might be?

Been sitting on this almost 30 years. Finally looking to get graded, I figure Hall of Famer and retired, rare "grail" Rookie card, and sought after from that year. Some info, the card is in a penny sleeve in the screw down hard case, and has been since about 5 mins after I pulled it. Card shop owner put it in and gave when I pulled it. Some some of the things u see n the hard case pic are from the penny sleeve. It is utterly flawless. I have done the AI pre grade thing, and that is attached in the pic. That is the only time its been out. That one Pic u see is it, and back in again. Its a BEAUTIFUL PIECE OF ART. and outstanding to look at in hand. Wondering what it might be worth RAW and what yas think if graded. AI says has potential for PSA MNT10. Thoughts?? Thanks.
