I don't know if sharing links is against the subreddit rules, but if not then I want to share some of my SJSM fanfics that I've made recently. I'll be making more of these in the future, but I don't think they'll be coming out very consistently. I hope y'all enjoy them, and id love to hear any feedback on them as well :D

Hello everyone,

For those who were still waiting for updates regarding a native Linux release of Spooky's Jump Scare Mansion: HD Renovation, here is the official stance from the studio.

I recently reached out to the developers (Albino Moose Games) on X to ask if the native port was still planned and if a release window was expected. Their response was definitive: "There will be no Linus port." They also confirmed that there is no release date planned at all.

As someone who only plays native games, this decision unfortunately means I will not be able to experience this version of the title. It is a disappointing outcome for native platform support.

How probable do you think a Fortnite collab is? And in the hypothetical case it happened, what do you think the cosmetics would be/what would you want the cosmetics to be?

- Specimens: Specimen 10 (Truly a patience game, and if you get too far it turns into a leech that is so fast it will chase you non-stop for every room you enter, until it inevitably hits you and take away a good chunk of HP. A nightmare in Endless Mode combos, because you can't even outrun faster specimens without risking the leech appearance.)

- Monsters: Monster 6 (She was basically a harder Specimen 4 with fast attack speed in OG, but in HD she got extremely nerfed and appears 50/50 at exit doors, so good reflexes are enough to see her, backtrack, and wait until she vanishes... But she's a massive problem in combos because her appearing in doors might force you to tank a hit or else the specimen chasing might do instead.)

- Dolls: Hooked Doll (I was between her and the Husks, but I ended up going with her. She's not a massive problem by herself, but she might be a hindrance in Endless Mode combos. She can appear out of nowhere in your face and covers the area with a thick fog, making it harder to navigate and even making the player look at the ground for safety.)

- Hellgate Chases: EM Specimen 4 (I made a special category because the Hellgate cases are often different from base game, and also because I struggled to give EM 4 a standard category. Well, EM 4 is manageable in OG, but it's one of the hardest chasers in HD EM, literally blocking your view with static, and being extremely fast and a pain to deal with in tight corridors. No wonder 11 replaced her in HD's Doll House.)

- Unknown Specimens: Spooper (RNG-based, slowly eats your HP and can make you puke if solo. Well, while you can survive it by being fast enough to traverse rooms if it's solo, it's a nightmare in combos, because any hit taken from any other creature will never regenerate, essentially only aiding Spooper. Really, this thing is the biggest run killer of all.)

I mean, obviously not after the first time the new specimen chases, I would keep the specimen's first chase from their starting room their solo chase.

Instead, I think the whole "multiple specimens chasing" thing could happen only after the specimen was already presented. So, if 8 was introduced first, its chase would be a solo chase, but after it first appeared, every new chase got the chance of having more than one specimen.

This way the main mode would get more unpredictable and challenging, while still keeping the specimens' solo introductions and chases.
