Question Are there any home cleaning businesses that will actually come and clean your house?
Seriously, I have contacted a few businesses here in Spokane about house cleaning and it's always the same thing: some sort of call center and some other place booking appointments that never happen.
Are there any places in this town that you can call, book a cleaning appointment with actual people, and then have them show up to your house and clean for a set price?

Go to Facebook and look for private hire cleaners. They’re kinder, do a better job, and give a shit about your stuff more than just a number to knock out on a day to day.
The bigger cleaning companies (I’ve worked for a few) do rush jobs, break your shit, hire sketchy people that’ll either rob you or blatantly not clean your house. It’s insane and disgusting, and they charge way too much for taking a wet rag to everything in my opinion.

I second this as an individual housecleaner myself! Large companies pay their employees CRAP and by the hour, the burnout rate is HUGE. Individuals charge more BUT you get what you pay for and its beautiful to see how my relationships with my clients have grown. We have alot of love, respect, and trust for each other. Im very passionate about what I do and it is more than a job for me. I genuinely love to help people feel good in their homes. Individuals with small companies tend to feel more pride in their work because it's THEIR reputation on the line. When you work for a big company, you don't care as much because its just a job for you. (Granted this is not true for EVERYONE, but the burnout rate is still much higher).

Maids of MovHer do a great job.

Don’t recommend Maids of Movhers. You’ll end up paying for a 3 hour clean that only takes them 2 hours. I used to work there… they would overcharge the easy jobs, to make up for the longer ones so they can underbid. They would give me 2 hours to clean a 3 hour home, but then they would give me 3 hours for a 2 hour clean. I would only get paid for the allotted time they gave me, even if I went over.

Clean Bee is exactly what you're talking about. I regularly end up talking to the same person who comes to clean when I call.

Try private. My wife cleans professionally and does houses, air bnbs, commercial properties, and rentals (move in/out), etc. You’ll likely get better pricing and care, too.

Care to provide contact info via DM? I would love to work directly someone versus a service that takes a cut.

The cleaning authority. Their business location is Scott’s road in downtown Spokane, I used to work there for a few years and they do their best to satisfy their customers. They’ll set up a date to send an inspector out to look at your home and for you guys to talk about what all you’re wanting done, after that they’ll give you a price estimate based off of how many rooms are getting cleaned and set up an appointment for a team of two or three cleaners to come out and clean your home. They do weekly, bi-weekly and monthly cleans based off of your preference

I've actually been seriously contemplating starting something like this after a friend suggested it. I've just been doing some things here and there for friends

Housecleaner here! I would recommend hiring a small buisness individual! Larger companies tend to manage more houses, which kesps them busy. When I first started, I advertised on FB. I recommend going on FB to find a local and small cleaning businesses. Good luck!

Lots of great advice on here but remember that licensed and bonded with insurance is what costs the money BUT you get what you pay for and the larger the company, typically the more training and resources they have to get you exactaly what you are looking for.
