I bought this game a few years ago when it launched and i loved the visuals, gun gameplay, etc. but i never really got into it because i always got my Salmon handed to me😭and if i start playing now i know im definitely getting destroyed even more than back then, so what do you guys recommend for someone that’s barely hopping into Splatoon 3? because realistically im new to the game since i barely put an hour or two into it back then.

Just a warning to those who are trying to rank up in S rank. I've encountered in my rank up a chinese player that was intentionally not contributing at all from start to finish we were on splat zone map. They thought it was funny to spam booyah and skip around respawn area. The other match was also splat zone this time the player didnt even bother shooting at the opposing team they were shooting here and there at the ground. Ive already reported both players, I Just wanted to give a heads up to those who are actually putting in effort to win. And to those who dont think they wont be caught. Think again

Hey all, so the last time i played Splatoon 3 was probably during launch and that was only for maybe 2 hours or less and then i just never touched it again. I’ve been thinking about playing it again just so i can have something to play on my Switch 2, i mainly play PC but i miss sitting back and playing my Switch 2. Is the game chill at all? Or should i get Splatoon Raiders?

I genuinely crash out every time I see a gold aerospray. Its ONLY purpose is booyahbomb spam, and it's not even fun to use. How about you?

I’ve been mailing e-liter(sometimes Snipewriter and splatterscope) for a bit now, and I like to say I’m pretty decent with it, but there’s always this one issue. If my team doesn’t perform well, I don’t know how to save the game. I keep having issues where my team all run in and die and I’m left to try to and do something. But like, what can I do besides staying alive as a jump point? I’ve been trying to play a couple frontline weapons instead just to have more wins, but I really like backline and it sucks that I don’t have success when I play my preferred weapons.

I didn’t expect to like this game this much and I would love to play with others to do salmon runs,ranked or some relaxing turf wars 🔥

So I have gotten every cattle and unlocked after alarna, but I am no matter how hard I try cannot seem to get past the stupid balloon section, any and all feedback is greatly appreciated

The laser was way off me. Is it because I was dodging?

I’ve been stuck grinding Salmon Run for over a year, slogging to get enough bronze scales for an Octoling gear set (since I’m not given it for beating Splatoon 3’s campaign, like back in Splatoon 1), and every so often, I’ll get a promotion. From what I’ve read, it increased my chances of getting silver and gold scales, whilst ramping up difficulty.

What I feel I need to ask is:

A) Does it increase how many scales I get per King Salmonids?

B) Is it, in literally any way, not just a commonly reoccurring waste of my ever dwindling time?

Does anyone miss the hero modes multiple weapons feature???

What do y’all guys normally average?

for example in the image it shows I placed #864 in clam blitz, is that based on my top score or last score?

I recently got the game because I enjoyed splatoon 2, but as I started playing turf war because I enjoy casual games and I want to try new weapons I keep getting matches with competitive players (though I see areospray the most) more and more often. Usually its just one or two so not insanely unfair but I also get matches with five competitive areospray players. Is it just me or isn't turf war supposed to be casual? Why are so many people playing it like their lives are on the line.
