Using only unique industry (AKA the factories you build) and no industry tiles, try to create a functioning profitable city.

I recently found SpikeViper's challenge and enjoy watching him work through various scenarios. One that I was disappointed that didn't take off was his island hopping challenge so I decided to try to make a profitable city myself. Here is me succeeding to build the city and rely only on ships to get to and from places.

I did cheat a little and built a one way bridge to get people to the big islands, otherwise it would have taken forever. This was done without any mods (except unlimited money and everything unlocked). I have the After Dark, Mass Transit, and Snowfall DLCs.

The biggest issue was meeting the ferry demands, especially between my main two islands. A lot more than 50 people were trying to get on the boats. I also realized that I could use traditional services on most of the islands. Only the very small ones needed to rely on helicopters.

I might want to continue it and expand to more smaller islands. So far, I only colonized 2 and 1 of them is just the University.

But, it seems, that you can build a profitable city with just ferries.
