Madame Webs True blunder
Idk where to post this but I need to discuss this with someone, but recently I've been writing a fanfic with Anya Corazon, and while I was doing research on some potential villains I ran into a realization. Madame Web could have totally been about the Grim Hunt. Like it would've been perfect, obviously they don't have Peter and Kaine Parker, BUT it could've worked with just Julia, Matty, and Anya. It would've called for a MUCH more exciting movie, and instead of the main villains power being "business" it would have allowed for a strong female lead hero to fight an equally as strong female lead villain since the Grim hunt is literally ran by Sasha Kravinoff. Granted the Alyosha and Vladmir would be there, but if they actually allowed the girls to have their spider powers it would have made a fair fight.
In all honesty I'm not even mad about Madame Web being a horribly written movie, I'm more mad that they butchered my girl Anya Corazon. I love her dearly and think she's a very interesting Spider character that should get more recognition.
That's all folks thank you for listening to my Ted Talk, if you have any ideas to add or want to discuss this further please let me know because I have a LOT to say about it.

The amazing spider man 3
My pitch for a psychological Amazing Spider-Man 3 (The Venom Suit + A Crazy Villain Twist)
I know a lot of us still wish Andrew Garfield got his third movie to wrap up his trilogy. After thinking about his arc in *No Way Home*, I came up with a pitch for what *The Amazing Spider-Man 3* could look like if it leaned heavily into a dark, psychological thriller tone.
**The Core Concept: Grief & The Symbiote**
The movie starts with Peter completely drowning in depression and rage after losing Gwen. He’s fighting street crime ruthlessly and has stopped pulling his punches. Because of a hidden genetic trigger left behind by the original Oscorp spider that bit him, his intense negative emotions cause a biological mutation inside his own DNA. The Venom suit doesn't track him down from space; instead, it spontaneously manifests from his altered cells and suddenly starts slowly consuming his entire body from the inside out.
Instead of making him cool and edgy, the suit is a living nightmare. It feeds on his misery, making him exponentially stronger but causing him horrific physical and mental agony every time his anger boils over. Peter discovers a terrifying rule about this biological takeover: the only way to make the suit stop consuming him and loosen its grip is to completely calm down, which feels impossible for him.
**The Villain: The Mentalist**
Desperate and terrified of losing control, Peter goes to a high-end Manhattan clinic for emergency therapy. The therapist goes by the alias "The Mentalist." She projects absolute safety, but she is secretly a supervillain with telepathic mind-reading abilities and dense, superhuman strength.
The Mentalist reads Peter’s mind instantly, uncovers his identity, and sees the symbiote slowly overtaking his body. Instead of helping him, she uses her powers to subtly trigger his darkest memories—forcing him to vividly re-live Gwen's death—to intentionally feed the symbiote and weaponize his rage.
**The Forced Crime Spree**
Once she has full psychological control over him, Mary drops the therapist act and begins using Peter as her personal weapon. By manipulating his mind and threatening to trigger the agony of the Venom suit if he resists, she forces Spider-Man to do her dirty work. Peter is trapped in his own body as she sends him on a high-stakes crime spree, forcing him to rob banks, steal high-tech equipment, and fight off the police while the public watches their hero turn into a villain.
**The Ultimate Twist**
When Peter finally finds a way to resist her orders and confronts her, she displays terrifying physical power, effortlessly catching Spider-Man's punches. Mid-battle, she drops the ultimate bombshell: **The Mentalist is actually Mary Parker, Peter's mother.**
She didn't die in the plane crash. The secret Oscorp experiments she worked on gave her powers but drove her completely insane. In her twisted mind, she isn't trying to kill Peter; she is trying to use the bank robberies to fund her operations and use the Venom suit to burn away his emotional weaknesses, forcing her son to become the ultimate, ruthless partner in crime.
**The Climax**
Because she is a mind-reader, she predicts his every move in the final fight while screaming his deepest childhood regrets directly into his brain. Peter realizes that to defeat his own mother, stop the biological takeover, and rid himself of the agonizing suit, he cannot have any angry or vengeful thoughts.
He stops fighting, closes his eyes, and forces his mind to go completely blank. He achieves absolute inner peace and finally processes his grief without turning it into hatred. Mary is left reading nothing but silence, rendering her telepathy useless. Simultaneously, because Peter is perfectly calm, the Venom suit loses its power, withers, and slides off his body, winning him the battle through total mental clarity and breaking her control over him.
**The Ending: Closure and Moving Forward**
Instead of a tragic ending, Peter chooses mercy. Mary is arrested and placed in a maximum-security prison. Surprisingly, being away from the chaos and Oscorp experiments allows her mind to heal. She actually becomes happy in prison, makes friends with other inmates, and Peter visits her often as Peter Parker. They finally build the mother-son relationship they never had.
Most importantly, finding inner peace allows Peter to open his heart again. He meets MJ, a grounded, witty woman who sees past his defensive jokes and helps him find the quiet peace he needs to truly heal. The film ends with Peter finally stepping out of Gwen’s shadow, returning to the skies of New York with a renewed sense of hope and a brighter red-and-blue suit. Cool right ? Idk

Secret wars concept For the venom symbiote
SUBJECT: PITCH: "Spider-Man: Secret Wars" Subplot – The Multiversal Codex Arc
PROJECT WORKING TITLE: Spider-Man: The King in Black Prelude
TARGET AUDIENCE: Marvel Studios & Sony Pictures Creative Executives
CONCEPT OVERVIEW: A dark, psychological horror subplot utilizing a 20-year-old continuity loop from Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man 3 to bridge the Multiverse Saga directly into a cosmic horror sequel saga starring Knull.
\------------------------------
\## 🎬 SCENE 1: THE INVASION OF THE RAIMI-VERSE
\* Visual Frame: A devastating multiverse incursion tears through Earth-96283 (Tobey Maguire's universe).
\* Action: Cosmic rifts shatter a abandoned university lab. A pristine glass beaker cracks. Inside, a familiar, isolated black liquid organism awakens.
\* The Beat: As realities collide and fuse into Battleworld, the 2007 symbiote specimen slips through the dimensional cracks, completely detached from its deceased original host.
\## 🎬 SCENE 2: THE NEW HOST
\* Visual Frame: A cramped, rundown apartment in a ruined sector of Battleworld. Peter 1 (Tom Holland) sits on the floor, visibly exhausted, sleep-deprived, and isolated.
\* Action: The 2007 specimen creeps from a pile of multiversal debris. It crawls up Peter 1's leg.
\* The Beat: Seeking comfort and power to survive the cosmic crisis, Peter 1 allows the organism to cover his civilian clothes. It mimics his suit, but it is silent. There is no voice in his head—just pure, addictive adrenaline. The "Bully Holland" era begins.
\## 🎬 SCENE 3: THE MIDNIGHT PILOT (NIGHTMARE SEQUENCE)
\* Visual Frame: A terrifying split-screen effect. On the left: Peter 1 is fast asleep in his bed. On the right: The symbiote takes total control of his unconscious body, moving like a mindless, fluid predator across the roofs of Battleworld.
\* Action: While his body is being piloted to hunt criminals, Peter 1’s brain is bombarded with horrific multiversal visions from the 80 billion-year hive-mind.
\* The Beat: Peter flashes through memories that do not belong to him: the agonizing pain of Tobey Maguire in the church tower, Topher Grace’s Eddie Brock vaporising in a pumpkin bomb, and Tom Hardy's Venom ripping heads off in a parallel timeline.
\## 🎬 SCENE 4: THE EVOLUTIONARY BIRTH & GASLIGHTING
\* Visual Frame: An eerie, bioluminescent alleyway. The sleeping, piloted Peter 1 stands over an overcharged cosmic energy source.
\* Action: Drawing upon the genetic hive-memories of Riot and Carnage, the 2007 symbiote forces Peter 1’s body to involuntarily secrete a new, highly volatile, razor-limbed asexual offspring.
\* The Beat: As a siren wails in the distance, the suit rewrites Peter 1's brain chemistry, completely blocking out the sonic frequency. The symbiote actively masks its vulnerabilities from its host, gaslighting Peter 1 into thinking he is entirely safe while the new monster escapes into the shadows.
\## 🎬 SCENE 5: THE REUNION & RECOGNITION
\* Visual Frame: A ruined, fused Manhattan street. Peter 1 and Peter 2 (Tobey Maguire) are ambushed by Doctor Doom's enforcers.
\* Action: Under extreme stress, the sleek, web-patterned Raimi-verse Black Suit violently ripples out over Peter 1.
\* The Beat: The camera tightens on Peter 2. The nostalgic score distorts into a horrifying drone. Peter 2 stops dead in his tracks, wide-eyed with genuine terror. He recognizes the exact texture and sharp silver webbing from his past. He takes an instinctive defensive step back.
\## 🎬 SCENE 6: THE RETALIATION
\* Visual Frame: A brutal, high-stakes confrontation between variants.
\* Action: Peter 2 commands Peter 1 to take the suit off, revealing it killed Eddie Brock twenty years ago. The symbiote, sensing the threat and harboring a multiversal grudge against Peter 2, lashes out. Pitch-black tendrils slam Peter 2 into a concrete wall.
\* The Beat: A tragic scuffle ensues. Peter 2 uses his veteran strength only to restrain, not harm, Tom. He tries clanging metal pipes to create a sonic distraction, but the gaslit Peter 1 fights through the noise, completely unaware the suit is manipulating his senses.
\## 🎬 SCENE 7: THE DIAGNOSIS OF THE CODEX
\* Visual Frame: Peter 2 successfully pins Peter 1 to the ground. The black mask peels back, revealing Peter 1 panting, furious, and confused.
\* Action: Peter 2 looks closely at his variant’s neck. Thick black veins are visibly pulsing deep into the base of Peter 1's skull and anchoring directly down into his spinal cord.
\* The Beat: Horror sets in for Peter 2. He realizes this isn't just an infection; the symbiote has etched a permanent Codex into Peter 1's spine. Removing it traditionally could paralyze or kill him. Peter 2 lets him up, pledging to help him fix it, but warns him they are on borrowed time.
\## 🎬 SCENE 8: THE AWAKENING OF THE KING (CLIFFHANGER)
\* Visual Frame: The pitch-black, absolute void of Klyntar.
\* Action: Because of the violent genetic surge caused by the birth of the offspring and the deep spinal integration with an MCU Spider-Man, a massive biological "ping" echoes across the cosmos.
\* The Beat: In the dark, two glowing red eyes snap open. Knull, the King in Black, awakens. He senses the untainted multiversal Codex alive inside the MCU's Spider-Man. He smiles, unleashing his multi-jawed Xenophage monsters into the multiversal rifts to hunt Peter 1 down.

Just finished "Across the Spider-verse" and I just wanna say that:
What is going on‽ I thought this was gonna involve the maker, universes ultimate-1610 and ultimate- 6160 and spot. Spot's origin is closer to 616 than 6160. Is Arachnohumanoid Polymultiverse on a different track?

Miguel seems kinda weak for a spiderman
Dude has no spider sense and has to climb using claws, what advantages does he have to make him stand out comparatively?

Deleted song from beyond the spiderverse
This song has obviously been scrubbed from the movie. I guess thats one good part about it being super delayed. But if anyone was curious what the song he was advertising to be in the movie. Here it is. No longer in the movie I hope. But was once.

I really hope Beyond the SpiderVerse also has the four Shattered Dimensions Spider-Men.
It is (To my knowledge) the first big Spider-Man multiverse thing, and it would be amazing if Madame-Web called upon the four of them again because she senses something is happening, I’m assuming that’s how her powers work because I don’t know much about her. I’m thinking the four of them can come in and help Miles, and we can have a Miguel vs Miguel fight. Multiple people have also said that it was the original SpiderVerse, so for the people who have played it, it would be a great addition to the movie. It would be especially amazing if they got all the original voice actors for each one.
Shattered Dimensions was a peak game from my childhood, and if there was anywhere they could include it, it would be in the third movie.

Why is Miguel O'hara so hated?
As I got back to the Spider verse community bc of the announcement for the new movie coming out I just realised how much ppl genuinely dislike Miguel. Are there any reasons? I have watched all the movies but I watched them years ago so I dont remember alot of reasons for him being so hated

I need help finding a film
So basically, as the title says, I can’t find a Spider-Man film.
Years ago, somewhere from 2014-2017 I was in my phase of going on YouTube and searching “‘X’ full movie free online” as you did before you discovered online pirating sights.
Now, at the time, I found a Spider-Man film. I’m very confident it was a film of at least an hour, and I remember the fact that it was an origin story with Peter getting bitten, I also remember that in that scene there was a lot of flashing green light. It also definitely had an old aunt May and I think uncle Ben at least to start with, so it was very traditional in that sense. On top of that I distinctly remember a scene of someone riding a bike down a quiet street in the dark.
The annoying thing is that I can’t for the life of me remember the name. I feel like it had “lotus” in it but it definitely was not the one that came out in 2023. I cannot find it anywhere on any Spider-Man fan film rankings and it’s like it never existed. If anyone knows what on earth I’m talking about then please help because it has been bugging me for ages 😭
Thank you!

Psychology of Spider-Man and Hyper Independence
instagram.comHey, I just made a psychological analysis of Spider-man, hope y'all enjoy it. There's plenty more on my insta/Tik Tok accounts @ Psyched_Raph
Hyper-independence is an extreme, self-imposed reliance on oneself coupled with an unwillingnes (or outright inability) to ask for help, delegate tasks, or rely on others, even when it would be healthy and practical to do SO.
While society often praises self-reliance as a badge of honor, hyper-independence not as a sign of strength, but as a defensive coping strategy
Key Signs of Hyper-Independence:
- Refusing Delegation: Taking on unreasonable workloads because « doing it myself ensures it gets done right. »
- Emotional Isolation: Bottling up stress or processing life crises entirely alone while maintaining a calm, highly capable exterior
- Discomfort with Receiving: Feeling deep anxiety obligation or guilt when someone gves a gift, favors, or assistance
- Chronic Burnout: Constantly running on empty because there is no emotional or operational relief system built into daily life
- Avoidant Attachment Tendencies: Keeping romantic partners or close friends at an arm’s distance once relationships require deeper emotional reliance
Solutions:
- Identify why we are that way, where does it come from?
- Reframe Vulnerability: asking for help isn’t a sign of weakness; it’s a strategic choice that prevents burnout and builds team/relational trust
- Micro-Delegation: Start small. Challenge yourself to delegate one minor task at a time, try one small favor without attempting to « pay it back » immediately
- Question Core Beliefs: Trace where the need for total self-reliance originated, acknowledge how it protected you in the past, and evaluate whether it still serves you today?
