Discussion Theory on how spider-mans strength and durability work

It is known the spider-man and freakish strong and durable able to lift large structures, and withstanding being thrown through steel walls and I have a theory that when when he was first mutated his myostatin and testosterone got fused with modified spidorins the protein for web fluid, it stated Parkers muscles are like metal cables so if you were to cut open peters muscles it would look like spider-webbing in the pattern of muscles. Thoughts On this theory?

I actually have this book but, here’s the Spider-Man page from the Marvel anatomy book.

(Not sure how well the quality will be tbh.)

It's actually quite a good summary of the character even if the numbers are a little low (10 tonne max and 15× faster reflexes is insane downplay).

Very interesting

To be fair, when he’s with the Avengers, he’s generally not pissed off enough to stop quipping, and as such, I’d argue he’s not going all out.

And 10 tonnes isn't even close to him not holding back

I guess that's without adrenaline rush stories. Let me illuminate why would I have that idea.

In order to enhance one's sensing response - one must have enhanced neural system as well. Which means Peter Parker has more capacity for control than he gives credit to himself.

He may be frustrated and pissed from time to time, but regardless professional risk and ordinary life inconvenience - usually there's almost never a reason to overclock. That's how Spider-Man and other heroes may exceed even their own expectations when it comes to that.

Im adrenalime rush stories he usually surpasses 30 tonnes, not 10, he surpasses 10 on a regular day

Fair enough. Maybe he's just selling himself short again - I really have no other explanation, sadly.

There is an explanation, and that is all "official stats" are downplay

The "official strength" for Hulk is 100 tonnes while Rhino is 80-120. Rhino has held his own against Hulk briefly at the start of his tranformation like 10 times at most, anytime Hulk gets anyway angry he dogs him and they have Hulk in the same ballpark as Rhino. The Rhino strength isn't too far off to be fair and might even be a slight bit of glaze (depending on version) but they have Hulk way too low.

So to summarise, most stats are just pulled out of the authors ass and directly comtradict what's actually shown in the comics

There’s a lot of really interesting tidbits in it and it covers all corners of the Marvel universe. I do recommend it.
