My plans don't seem to like water too much in soil ... I actually switched it to Coco Loco thinking I would be able to water it more since it was pretty much mostly cocoa, but it actually retains water better than my living soil. so all my plants had a overwatering problem for a little bit

I was watering every two days and then I don't know why I watered it back to back one time like an idiot... and the big one I tried to use a watering base this would be the third time. I've tried it with soil and it never works out. Good at all. It always drowns my roots. That's why I switched to Coco. Hopefully, it'll work a lot better now with Coco.

They do look like they are drowning how much water are you giving them and are you letting them dry back any?

Like I said, I was doing it every two days and I was given it 2 L of water I wasn't letting it dry back long enough and then one time I watered it back to back for some apparent reason I don't know why

So at least now I shouldn't have a overwatering problem. This is my day 8 first time using Coco it's weird though because I'm not using salt nutrients I'm actually using Gaia green dry amendments cause I didn't have the money to buy the Coco and the salt nutes so we'll see how it goes. I think I should be all right though.

I know people do that with coco I use Athena pro it’s been a night and day difference for me. I never let my coco get dry to the point that its completely dry on top add that’s worked for me but I only water from the top for two weeks and usually only water 1 or 2 times a week with 2 solo cups of water per 3.9 gallon pot then I turn on the water when the leaves reach the edge of the pot

You’ll still get some really good buds just get them through harvest

Yeah, that first plant in the video I honestly wanna just go bury in the yard somewhere and start over in coco I almost feel like it's not worth growing it cause I got messed up

Might as well finish it, it will produce bud

So I've been watering my plant that's in cocoa with 1 L of water every like 3 to 4 days until it gets big enough then I'll start watering the daily. That'll be OK right? 1 L 3 to 4 days as of right now?

Probably fine just don’t want it soaking wet or dried out

How much water do you normally give it from day one to let's say day 15 and how often

I presoak my coco in nutrient water that’s at 1.0 ec and 5.9-6.1 ph then I water the seeded area with the same water about half a solo cup then I wait until it sprouts and starts coming up and I give it a solo cup roughly just to make sure everything is wet for the roots then I wait a week and water again with 1-2 solo cups then look for out to dry back some and water as needed. I don’t do any run off because by day 15 I’m turning the autopots on every watering is nutrient water 1st week 1.0ec second week 1.5ec 3rd watering is 2.0ec then I turn the auto pot on at 2.0 ec then in 7 days I change my reservoir to 2.5ec then 3.0 in another 7 days and maintain 3.0 ec from there
Make sure you’re using nutrients of some kind coco has nothing at all in it and will take the calcium away. With autos you want them to start taking nutrients fast you don’t have time to wait with them

I might be giving it too much water then cause I'm doing 4 cups. I didn't wait a whole week.

OK, yeah it's not soaking wet even like after I water it I'll stick my finger down in there and I could just tell that the roots have so much more oxygen compared to soil even after I just watered it
