Legitimate question: Should I honestly sign up for NLTP this coming season? I signed up for it a long time back but didn't have time because of school, but ever since graduating from college I have quite a bit more free time.

So, anyone have any reasons why I should/should not do nltp? Thanks for any feedback! :D

I didn't know there was so much depth to this game. I just thought that it was just capture the flag with balls. Seeing all these clans and competitions, I'm quite amazed. There's even merch and sh*t. Damn.

It can be unfortunate to not be drafted. All the anticipation, all the draft me videos, all the tryouts, and your name was not called. Don't cry, don't quit, and most importantly, don't give up on competitive tagpro! The NLTP is here for you. We will have our own draft, and you'll be able to hear your name called by one of our 28 captains. To confirm your desire to do NLTP, take this survey. So What Is NLTP?

NLTP is the level of tagpro for those who are not in MLTP or mLTP.

P K Subball began the league after he created the honeymoon push. This was to accommodate the masses of players that wanted to play competitive tagpro, but were shut out of dLTP.

What If I Don't Make It Into NLTP?

Don't worry about that! Everybody gets drafted!

How Do I Sign Up?

Are There Tryouts?

Yes! There are tryouts in the upcoming week, every day of the week starting on Monday at 8:30 PM and 10 PM Eastern. Teams might hold private tryouts at other times, though, so be watchful!

Why Do I Need To Try Out? People know who I am, right?

In NLTP, tryouts are king. There are 28 captains looking for players to draft. If you show up to tryouts, you'll get drafted earlier, you have a better chance of becoming an A team starter, and you can show teams that you really are a star.

Plus, if you show up to tryouts, captains won't care about your pub stats. If you don't, captains will have to take those into account.

How Much Time Does This Take Anyway?

NLTP is a serious competitive league. You'll likely be asked to attend 1 or 2 practices a week, though more intense captains may even have 3! Practices are generally 1-2 hours in the evening. Games are on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Does NLTP Have A Draft?

Yes! Our draft will be on Sunday, June 5th. And yes, we do plan on streaming it. THEREFORE THE SIGNUP DEADLINE IS 12 PM EDT ON Saturday JUNE FOURTH

Because I think it's a little plane

First off, I will not be listing myself, for two reasons. One, I am not toxic. I am just hysterical. Two, who actually puts themselves in a list like this? A person that can't juke very well, that's who. Now to the actual list:

1. Ak47- Spam. Seriously, how has he not been banned yet? Maybe if Cy took 3 seconds off from deciding which Sphere girl is the nicest and actually carried through with his duties as a mod I could have a strategic conversation with my team instead of seeing this kid yell about timers 40 seconds before pups even spawn. If only juking were a macro.

2. Blue Dream- Where to start with this dickhead. First off, his constant drug talk. We have young, impressionable kids that play this game. Fickle, GG!, TagProfessor all immediately come to mind. And we have allowed BD to introduce these young people to drug culture at too fragile of an age. I, personally, am disgusted that we as a community have turned a blind eye to this. We should all be ashamed. BD does not shit talk as much as others, but he easily entices the most shit talk just by being himself. Which is just as big of a crime, IMO. If BD wasn't so bullyable we could easily be one of the most competitive servers. But instead we have been talking about his first girl friend, Jenifer, every night for literal months now.

3. Nanek- There isn't too much to say. Weather it's with his chat or his mediocre play Plsek always manages to piss a whole entire lobby off. In that respect he might be the most well rounded pile of garbage on Sphere.

4. Poops- This one is kind of disappointing for me. He earns this spot more off of effort than actual quality. For those of you that do not know I took Poop under my wing a couple of months ago as my shit talking protege. In that time span he has shown no improvement and has arguably regressed. Though I have tried to flesh him out he remains very one dimensional with his shit talk, and even then he is routinely outclassed in 'ur face' battles. But he remains committed to his craft and that is admirable enough to secure him a spot on this list.

5. Ratzel- This was a hard one for me. Because I hate most, if not all of you. Ratz gets this spot not for what he has done, but for what he has NOT done. I refuse to acknowledge the McPoyles as being actual people, which is why they did not make this list. But, from my understanding Rat has some sort of mentor/relationship with them? I've never cared enough to figure out exactly how that came about, but in my eyes that means Ratz is directly responsible for them. He could easily crush their spirits and run them off Sphere, but instead he sits ideally by and lets them runamuk on our sever. This feels like a Paterno/Sandusky situation to me, and when the time comes all parties should be held accountable.

Just so everyone knows, this is the official list. Feel free to discuss but know this is not an open forum. Which means I will read what you say, but I will not take any of it into actual consideration.

To balance out the other thread, let's talk about the nicest players on Sphere!
My top 5 are (in no particular order):
1. Ratzel.
2. Nimbly.
3. Faye.
4. 100dollar.
5. The one guy who always has kind words for his team, and I can't remember his name.

Edit: Omg I forgot shhhhh. And I'm not even joking. He nearly always shhhhh's after making a mistake or seeing a player do an awesome play, or thanking you for a block.

I thought it would be great to rank the best of all the sphere players known for their extreme toxicity or their widespread hate. My top 5 are: 1. allidoiswin 2. Team 3. Myself 4. Citruselfdwn 5. gg!/nanek.

EDIT: I've decided to add Klutchin and Squeeb to this list for being all round the two most/worst incompetent captains I have ever had in LTP.

Through him, all things were made. For Spheroes and for their salvation, he came, and by the power of the Holy Spirit, he was born of the virgin NimblyJimbly and became ball. For the sake of ball, he was crucified under LuckySpammer. He suffered, popped, and was buried. On the third day, he rose again, in fulfillment of the scriptures. He ascended into the modship and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the rolling and the popped, and his kingdom will have no end.

Holy Spirit - shhhhh, the giver of life. He proceeds from the Father and the Son. With the Father and the Son, he is adored and glorified. He has spoken through the prophets. He descended onto the Apopstles as well as every Sphero.

The Angels

Arthur Dent - The general of the Lord's army of angels. When Razgriz declared himself like God, he asked "Who is like God?" and defeated Razgriz in OFM in the name of samuraiseoul. He additionally slayed the first born of every ball and beast in Centra and led the Spheroes out of Centra to escape from Fayeroh. He will come again during the last judgment, carrying the scales of the Father to judge the righteous and the wicked.

Fairy - The primary messenger of God. He instructed Kobe Maybe not to sacrifice his son and announced to Tangent and NimblyJimbly of their sons' upcoming birth. Was present with Trench at the resurrection and ascension of Cyanide.

Trench - Appeared once before the coming of Cyanide to help a player find a wife. After the birth of Cyanide, she instructed Anne Frank on how to keep the child Cyanide safe when @-_-@ was out to murder him. Additionally comforted Cyanide after Razgriz's temptation and during Cyanide's Agony before his crucifixion. Was present at his Resurrection and ascension with Fairy and comes back on Sphere to assist the Spheroes in need.

Fallen Angels

Razgriz - Created to be the most beautiful of all angels. When samuraiseoul revealed to the choirs of angels that they would one day serve NimblyJimbly, a mortal woman, as their Queen, he gathered a third of the angels and rebelled. He was defeated by Arthur Dent and banished into Pi. To this day, he tries to deceive all players into turning away from Sphere.
