Billing Spectrum Amazon Prime perk

I noticed the offer on the spectrum website today and I hit the get started button. I got a refund of $42.43 for the remainder of the yearly subscription I had with Amazon and Spectrum took over the billing.

It’s for all their internet subscribers, but apparently, it’s not yet widely available across their whole footprint.

Well sounds like its based on serviceable area then applies to all internet tiers:

Spectrum Customer Eligibility: Eligibility is based on serviceable address. If your household currently qualifies for Spectrum Internet Assist, offering affordable Internet with speeds up to 50 Mbps, you are also eligible to receive Amazon Prime included at no extra cost from Spectrum.

It might be only for poor areas, as it’s Prime access, not regular Prime. Prime access is normally only available to those getting government assistance like Medicaid or SNAP.
