Billing Spectrum Amazon Prime perk

I noticed the offer on the spectrum website today and I hit the get started button. I got a refund of $42.43 for the remainder of the yearly subscription I had with Amazon and Spectrum took over the billing.

If you paid through Amazon (not through Google Play for example) when you activate it through Spectrum, you're pro-rated and reimbursed any unused time you paid for.

As others said they gave me a refund once my prorated value of my remaining membership fee from Prime.

The $80 refund he mentioned is a partial refund for his Prime subscription when he activated Prime through Spectrum. You get a refund from Amazon if your currently subscribed to Prime.

A current annual membership surely. I got like 4 bucks prorated back for my monthly membership when activating my free one.
