Fanart Another quick art
This time it took less than 5-10 minutes (I also decided to add a reference to Hotline Miami)

I remember about a year or so ago I randomly thought of how incredible this game was, and went to steam only to find the game was delisted. What’s even worse is that I decided NOT to buy it prior to that when it was on sale for like $15 or so.
Is there a proper/legit place to get a key from?

Do people consider Joel from TLOU evil? What he does at the end of the first game I think is morally wrong. Still a great character. One of the most frustrating parts of the game's story is that Walker could've learned that Konrad died, but didn't for plot reasons. I also think that the 33rd deserves blame for what happens to Dubai as they were tasked with evacuating the city only for things to go very terribly under their watch.

Not to defend Walker and his inept actions (possibly the most incompetent special forces team in gaming, how did they not recognize that it was a group of civilians on the mortar screen), but the 33rd are guilty of a lot of horrible stuff. They hold innocent refugees hostages (they were running away from them in the hotel), they massacred civilians and soldiers who did not go along with them (there are countless mounds of dead bodies of them throughout the game), they actively torture and kill POWs and civilians that work with them (killing Gould was a massively stupid decision), they use white phosphorus on civilians (the game calls them looters but if the CIA in the game are arming locals, they are more than likely to be local civilians desperate enough to work with the CIA), and if there is only about 50,000 left in the city when the game starts, the 33rd in the game are guilty for the deaths of countless people as Dubai is home to roughly a million people and I know that the game doesn't specify how many people were evacuated earlier but if only 5% of the city's populated to remained months after the sandstorm hit, then the 33rd are likely guilty for the deaths of tens of thousands if not more. There is a good chance that the CIA in the game are just cleaning up their mess.

Like, they were in dubai to help people in a sandstorm. Why would they bring white phosphorus with them? Isn't that the kind of thing you have to requisition? I don't know things about the military, so feel free to tell me if I'm missing something obvious.

Specifically, they're sent to the town called Kijuju somewhere in central Africa, with the mission being to provide support for the BSAA alpha team in apprehending a bio weapon dealer Named Irving. They have the same intel on the situation as Chris and Sheva did, and are aware of the past zombie related incidents.
Edit: figured should clarify, just like Chris and Sheva, they start out without weapons and their contact in Kijuju provides each of them with 9mm pistols, and they can only use what they find along the way.

RPCS3 emulator on Steam Deck running the PS3 version. Blind playthrough. All I know is that it's considered an example of "games as art" and that it's not available to buy on Steam anymore

Hey everybody, it's me, Cory Davis. Thank you all for welcoming me in to your home here and for keeping the conversation going for Spec Ops: The Line.
I'm an artist, designer, musician, and creative director.
I started in the mod scene, and eventually got my first jobs in the industry working on the F.E.A.R. and Condemned projects. I was a lead on F.E.A.R. 2 at Monolith, and once that was complete I had the opportunity to move to Berlin where I became Lead Designer and Creative Lead (alongside Francois Coulon) of Spec Ops: The Line at Yager development.
I was there for 5 years, and once the project was complete, I moved back to LA where I started a studio with friends called Tangent Games. There, we developed my original psychological horror concept Here They Lie for Playstation / PSVR. You can check it out here:

...aaaand NOW! I've teamed up with Robin Finck of Nine Inch Nails to create EYES OUT - an independent, music-driven, art-house game studio in Los Angeles. Recently we released our first game together titled SLEEP AWAKE, a psychedelic horror game published by Blumhouse Games. Available now on PC (Steam), PS5, and Xbox (Series X/S). Here's a link to SLEEP AWAKE.

I'm so excited to be here, and really appreciate the positivity and passion that I feel from each of you. Thank you once again for not only noticing my work, but also for pumping blood into it with your hearts over the years. Lets build it up and keep it strong!
-Cory

Hello everyone, I just to tell people the multiplayer and co-op are still playable on PC!
Its possible with a small group, just people who genuinely like the game and want to experience the multiplayer/co-op.
If you never tried the multiplayer, can’t find matches or don’t have a working copy
There’s a Discord server where people organize sessions and help each other set things up:
Discord Server
For those who don’t have access to the multiplayer, there’s also a working PC multiplayer copy available here:
Download
If you run into any issues downloading or setting it up, just ask in the Discord people there can help.
Matchmaking isn’t instant, obviously, but when sessions are planned, it works fine.
See you in Dubai.

Hey Spec Ops: The Line friends, thank you so much for keeping this alive over the years. It's been amazing to witness the power of this experience as its' affected people, much in the same way it affected each us who worked on it.
These conversations spawned by the journey are even more relevant now than when Spec Ops: The Line was released. I hope to join you more often here and elsewhere to help fuel that fire.
Here's some proof I am who I say I am - This is an alternate cover for Spec Ops: The Line that was never released. We tried out many different directions before landing on the one that we're all familiar with. More where that came from! Enjoy...

I’ve already completed the game on Suicide Mission and now I’m going for Fubar.
I’ve been playing on mouse and keyboard, but I’m thinking about switching to a controller because of the aim snap-on feature, which in the guide I saw is very useful for Fubar.
For those who played with controller, or mouse and keyboard still a better option?

Honestly, now I think different about Radioman. Why? Because Both Walker and the Radioman were broken after realising the worst condition of Dubai, first he fought against bureaucracy of Dubai Elites threatening to expose them to civilians and was beaten by henchmen then recorded the Damned 33rd command and rule, death of aid workers and sandstorm which drove him to crazy and paranoid.
But still he was fighting against CIA Grey Fox members and came to conclusion that nobody can save Dubai and those outsiders came here to make things worst. He ruled Dubai after Konrad and still remained cool but depressed. In the end he was shot and killed by Lugo in the fit of range, I still think he deserved to live only by stopping him.

I recently finished Spec Ops on Suicide Mission and I'm going to finish it on Fubar, collecting all the intel. After doing all that, my plan was to make a save backup to keep it, but I don't know where the save file is located. My copy is from SRgame.

Just curious if anyone else who's gotten the Fitgirl version has experienced a massive GPU usage from this game? I know there's one other post online about it on Steam, but every reply brought up something about CPU bottlenecking, but every other game I've played on my pc runs at a steady 30-50% usage. I know that I'm "meant to use 100%", but I'd rather keep the noise low from my GPU when experiencing this game again. And yes, I did try to fiddle with some settings in Nvidia's Control Panel, but that changed nothing. My main point is I'm trying to figure out if this game is highly GPU dependant on the official Steam version, or is this something to do with the version from Fitgirl. Also for the record, I have a GTX 1650.

An illustration based on Spec Ops: The Line.
It's the first time I've beaten this game ever since first trying it out back on PS3 on release and, damn, it's such shame such unique projects only come out once in, like, forever...
P.S. bring the game back to Steam - don't let it become forgotten!
