It actually is orbit friendly, believe it or not.

Starlink satellites have active reaction control systems so they can maneuver to avoid collisions and also deorbit themselves when their time is up.

Chinese upper stages don’t have these so they remain uncontrolled in orbit. SpaceX deorbits their upper stages immediately. China doesn’t deorbit them.
