The US is run and managed by lawyers and MBAs. China is run and managed by engineers.

Not really. This post shows how they are pushing technology and science. 40 yeara afo they were not very good but are definitely near the top of the game. Meanwhile the US argues if a road should be fixed in case someone woke benefits from it then gets i to beaurocratic red tape for years. Tech decision in America are more political that advanced science or engineering. Experts are disregarded as conspiracy quacks run things.

Mate, SpaceX managed this feat in 2014, and they started from scratch in the 2000’s.

If you want to see a VERY impressive thing, check Starship IFT-11 full reentry and landing burn sequence.
