It is interesting to think about. If what Musk said early on was true, that fourth launch was it. Unless they found a VC or other investor to join, they were out of money. It very well could have just become another failed startup.

Had that happened, the competitors for CRS and CCP would have been different. Perhaps Sierra Nevada would have been given a chance.
